Ferry Corsten - Kingdom of the Netherlands (2x CD)

Posted by Sveta on Jul-01-2005 19:03:

Coldplay "X & Y" - Marques Wyatt gave me this morning - listening...

Ferry Corsten " Passport...." got it two days ago - very upseting. I didn't expect another "Right of way" but i got bored after the 3rd track. Even BT - "Force of gravity" was a very boring remix.

Cor Fijneman "Monologue" - D brought me from Holland with Cor's authograph - I did like both CDs but second one looks very much like Tiesto life sets
is it all?

Were you in an odd mood at the time you were listening to the cd? I have yet to honestly read a bad review, even though it wouldnt make a difference on my opinion. But seriously, so far, this cd rocks!

I like the 80's track.

I like the new sasha cd... Whats wrong with it? Anyone who puts a m83 track on a cd is good in my book...

yea, the problem is when that's the Only good track you put on the cd. for me it was just boring. no pizzazz, no sasha-sashe`, no here-i-am-one-of-the-world's-greatest-djs... it was more like "hi, my name is sasha, and i'm a coke addict. oh yea, and im jaded too."

Daniella, do you like Involver?

i didn't read any reviews on this album so far but i'm giving you my opinion. I LOVE Ferry and as much as i do as much i got upset with his CD. Maybe i need to take some time and listen to it more - what i'm actually going to do. But it's very repetitive - 1,2,3,4 and cetera tracks sounds exactly like the previous ones.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Jul-01-2005 19:52:

Hmmm. They way I see it, he is just building up from beginning to end. Starts off soft and ends hard...

Posted by InterMilan31 on Jul-01-2005 20:29:

Ferry Corsten - Passport - Four Thumbs Down (just not into it kinda boring like Sveta said)
Tiesto - ISOS 4 Two Thumbs Up

Chris Fortier-Balance 7

Exit 100 - Circuits

Nick Warren - GU 28

CD 1 is really chill, good for listening while I'm at work, not distracting (meaning nothing to get the juices flowing though).

CD 2 is much better, gets me going a little more. I like it.

Sasha - Fundacion

I was pretty bored after 2 listens. I like his live mixes better sorry.

Chris Fortier - Balance 7

Really nice, just pure grooving throughout. I used to dance away with him in small clubs in small cities. Tough for me to forget that.

*shrug* I loved the Sasha. Behind the Wheel, Don't Save us From the Flames ... I was rockin out in the car. Definitely a CD that I will be playing over and over in the car for the next week. Last week it was GU 13, CD 1.

Like many of you, I also bought ISOS4. I though 1-3 were much better. "Just be" was better too.
