Invertika - Reverse [driving/melodic, 192kb sample]

hey TA producers,

This is my newest track, titled Reverse, forthcoming on TranceTribe Recordings

A driving trance groove gives way to a unique, dark tinged melody.
This is a 5 min sample with bits chopped out, pending the release on TTR. Will be available soon from audiojelly, beatport etc.

Invertika - Reverse [TA sample]

feedback would be great!!

hope you like it, thanks.

Hey mate.

Listening...

awesome beginning
Excellent selection of bass drum.
Nice high synth.
The mastering is good.
great build up @ 3.15.
I noticed a lot of stopping & starting of the bass drum. I cant tell if it effects the flow of the track as it is a clipped sample.

The main rhythm is a little uninteresting. Not really my cup of tea. Though it is a great production with lots of great sounds & effects.

Great work Invertika

Sounds very nice man. I'm lovin that bass. Tons of energy goin on too. Really the only negative comment I can think of is that it just seems to go on forever. Even during the breakdown there's not a whole lot going on. Some instruments join/drop out but thats about it. I liked that filtered part too.

Should kill on the dancefloor tho. Especially that drop at 3:24

Btw, Hindenburg is teh hawtness. I love all the delicious distorted synths in that tune. Keep it up man. Good to see TTR keepin up the quality stuff.

Hey dude.

Full sounding coming up, I like the rolling bass. Maybe it's just limitted/compressed too much, overall and on the rolling bassline. It's ticking here and there too. Melody is not really grabbing me, just too flowting for the energy it's bringing. It's not telling any story. Synths need be more defined, so look at the eq-ing. nice fx on the lead just before it kick in again. Percs are too minimal dude, need more there, or better defined.

Nice ideas, but some things still lack. I'd say keep working on it

Bit late posting on this one, been away and it's taken me a while to catch up!

Really nice sound to the whole track, like the pads, sounds, melodies, the whole lot! For me it'd be a filler track, as it does really have a big memorable tune or anything, but a good one at that.

8/10

(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = something special)

Nice moody intro there. There was so much goin on at the breakdown at about 2:30 that it got a little confusing and chaotic. I like the overall track though. Very dark atmosphere.

Hey Kieran, ah finally get to hear this. I've heard rumblings of it on TT.

Storming intro... that clap is perfect. Lots of energy in this one. The production sounds right up there, this is very tight! Kinda hard to judge the progression of the melody since it fades in and out like that... was kinda waiting for something a bit more uplifting, but in contrast, its very subtle and kinda dark. I've noticed this is a signature in most of your tracks... so keep it I say.

Fx are great... some of those acidy sweeps sound very electric and sizzling. Awesome work... good luck on getting it on TTR
