Madoka & Private Reality Updates - July 3, 2005

What's up everyone. I have a quick label update for you for the first time in awhile. As always, you can find more info on our releases and artists at www.privatereality.com. Also, thanks for the support with our "Embedded" release!

Private Reality

First, our next monster (REAL010) hit the streets earlier this week. It's the awesome peak-time, Iberican affair with a twist from Spanish duo Clubbervision entitled "Paz". Ideal sounds for a summer release, contrasting its Balearic sensibility with its sharp, raw drums. I take it to the next level with my "Pasi�n Sutil Mix" and add even more flare with massive modulations, pulsing effects, sexy inaudible voice bits and an unstoppable groove.

Second, our following release (REAL011) will be hitting promos soon and is an EP by label newcomer Satoshi Fumi in the form of Deptech. "Frangy" is an absolute stormer which builds and builds like there is no tomorrow, while "I'm Free" on the flip is extremely sleek and sublime and is all about its silky smooth breakdown. The "Frangy EP" is tentatively scheduled for Aug/Sept release.

Metamotional Music

Third, Madoka's "Drift" (MMM003) will be arriving finally on Metamotional Music this month, I swear! I held the release up a bit more mainly because I wanted to set up the label with Beatport as well as EDMDigital to help get the tune out there to a wider audience when it's released and since "MTTM" did so well. The wait will be worth it though, as the Roel Mix is just so awesome. I'll post more info around its release time.

Featured Artist DJ Set

Finally, As many of you may already know, I took a great deal of time off from spinning in order to focus on the label and my production work over the last few years. Well now, I have been starting to play out again recently, and have even been busy putting together a live performance. So I made a DJ mix as a promo that we decided to also premier on Proton Radio for this week's Featured Artist spot. Originally recorded in late April, the mix airs this Wednesday on Proton. Check their site for proper air times. The tracklist will be posted on their site as well as privatereality.com after the broadcast.

It's cool coincidence to see a thread by u urself after I decided to bring up a rather old 'Powerplant - Turn It Into Gold' thread in the releases/reviews board. That mix of yours for TIIG is gold.

You're by far my favourite producer around, and you're doin a fantastic job in running one the best progressive labels there is! So keep up the good work, and try to get soms gigs in Belgium if you can
