Your top 3 most useful plugins
Just wondered what kind of plugins people used for stuff like, delay, reverb, mastering, EQ and any other stuff you can think of.
My top 3 would have to be:
iZotope Ozone 3
http://www.izotope.com - Great final mastering tool.
Karma Fx
http://www.karmafx.dk - Nice delay, filter and also a synth, can't wait for the reverb.
Finis
http://www.elementalaudio.com/products/finis/index.html - Great for monitoring sound levels.
Now for some of yours
why did you say "non Vst" ? when all those are Vst's?
oops my mistake
I think he ment non-synth VST's
That is, of course, what i meant.
Now we've cleared that little "blip" up, any thoughts on the question?
i luv the waves bundle.. the classic fx's..
All the plugins that comes with ejay!
No wait.. that was 7 years ago :-P
My fav. plugins:
1. Waves' plugins
2. Elemental Audio's plugins
3. PSP's delay/reverb plugins
now we're getting somewhere
I mainly use fruity plugins but besides fruity
1.Orange Vocoder
2.Toby Bear stuff is cool
3.Fruity Granulizer (my fav fruity plugin)
i dont like to spend a fortune on fx plugs mainly instruments.
Waves Renaissance Compressor
Waves Renaissance Bass
Waldorf D-Pole Filter
Non-synths, eh? I guess that includes samplers and soundfont players.
For me:
1. Logic Platinum-Verb: Best. Reverb. EVAR. I use it on every track I make, to differing degrees, of course.
2. IK Multimedia Sonik Synth - some of the FX that thing has built into it are sweet!
The awesome thing is, it can be used as an effect OR as an instrument.
3. Logic Multipressor - EQ together with compression? SWEET
Check out this thing its 45 bucks but listen to the demo's this thing would be nasty in a breaks track.

I like the Makunouchi Bento ring mod plugin. I don't recall precisely where I got it, though.
Other than that, anything by Destroy FX is good for me.

Oh how I hate the phase shifts and quality of the Fruity Parametric EQ.
Can't believe some of you actually like it.
1. Waves LinEQ (The one and only EQ I use)
2. Waves LinMB (Great for master compression and compression of wideband instruments)
3. Waves C1 (Great all-around compressor, though I sometimes miss a variable knee control)
Free plugins:
1. SIR
2. Kjaerhus Classic Compressor
3. Tonic
Commercial plugins:
1. Ozone
2. NI Guitar Rig
3. Waves Enigma
Honourable mention goes to the TC Sonic Destructor, which is probably the coolest plugin I've seen so far although not necessarily the most "useful".
