Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebith (Danjo & Styles Primer Remix) - bah

why yet ANOTHER remake of a well respected track with enough mixes already It's about time we just called this 'regressive' trance until they stop ruining past classics

dont' be mad at the artists, but mad at the label(banshee i believe). they have all the rights and the majority of the decision

omfg someone plz shoot danjo & styles.
those producers who remix classics shouldnt be called trance fans since what they actually do is ruining classics. a person with reason would leave it alone.
i am refering to the majority of those new so called "upcoming" producers which lacks their own creativity that they have to go on and kill 10 year old tunes.

It's a shame that money rules the roost for most, and they can't be real music fans if they can allow the tunes to be decimated.

Apart from that, everything said in the above post is true

another thing that bugs me is you see a classic trance track, and they get someone to slap a hard house remix on it and stick 2005 on the end of the title

Posted by EverZ on Jul-07-2005 22:36:

Everybody hates the remakes, though probably everyone buys them otherwise the labels would stop releasing them...

My question to you guys is:

Why do you listen to these remixes if you know their going to be shit?

I haven't heard this mix as I do not care but I do argee with you that they're WAY to many remixes of classic tracks but we only have the labels to blame, not the producers.

To add a bit of random quality to this abominable thread, and because I know Ian is an Oliver Lieb fan (or am I wrong?), here are samples to one of his latest releases:

Solieb - Circus Maximus
A-side
B-side

End of randomness.

i'm actually very impressed with this remix.. it's got everything. a beautiful harmony, gorgeous sounds and lots of energy.

every once in a while, there is a good remake.
