Emotions In Motion - Summer 2005 Mix (Trance style)

Well here is my new summer mix .I wanted it to be full of emotions,so those seeking pumping trance tunes,or tech trance should move on (well they can download it if they want, but at least i warned you ).The mix starts with some prog trance emotional tunes, such as I Know You're Gone,Wasting and People I Used To Know. Then we go to more uplifting tunes, such as Airwave. The feeling remains the same as we pass to Jump The Next Train and Lately. Finally the mix closes with the awesome Sunday Afternoon Rework of Rank 1 - Such Is Life. Here is the full tracklist:

1) Max Graham featuring Jessica Jacobs - I Know You're Gone (Original Mix)
2) Hidden Logic Presents Luminary - Wasting (Andy Moor Remix)
3) Tyler Michaud & Shawn Mitiska - Daydream (Original Mix)
4) LNQ - People I Used To Know (Mike Foyle Remix)
5) The Cranberries - Shattered (Arctic Quest Bootleg Mix)
6) Rank 1 - Airwave (Bobina Remix)
7) Young Parisians featuring Ben Lost - Jump The Next Train (Solarstone Remix)
8) Airbiscuit - Lately (Riley & Durrant Remix)
9) Electrovoya - Days Like These (Original Mix)
10)Envio - Love Poison (Original Mix)
11)Rank 1 - Such Is Life (Sunday Afternoon Rework)

You can download the set from here: http://www.trance.gr/~john2/New_Mixes/

Nice! That Bobina Remix is fuckin sick!

Posted by john2 on Jul-09-2005 14:26:

Indeed, the remix from Bobina is mindblowing. This electric quitar is amazing and really proves that if you have talent, you can remix a classic tune and make it even better.Currently Bobina are the best duo for me (among with Gabriel & Dresden and a few others) and i wish them best luck.Keep an eye and to their mixed cd "Russia Goes Clubbing",they are also and good dj's

Couldn't agree with you more on Gabriel & Dresden.

I'm going to check this set out. I'm intrigued....

WOW

Where should I begin…

Ok major props to John 2 to start off with. This set is AWESOME. My kind of music and I understand completely why it’s called “Emotions”.

I loved the first track “I Know You’re Gone”. I had never heard this before. Really liked the instrumental part when the set hits 4:38 min. mark. “Wasting” gave me chills. Literally. Cranberries “Shattered”-haha talk about emotional! This is a beautiful track. Rank 1-Airwave (Bobina Mix) OMG!!! This is one of my favorites and when the set hits 36:18 during this track it’s UNBELIEVABLE. “Jump The Next Train” I enjoyed and wanted to blast but I’m stuck here at work so it’s got to be a sight to see. I’ve got my head down at the speakers to my computer. Practically dancing in my chair behind my desk. You should see the looks I’m getting!!!

Very nice job. Very impressed. THANK YOU

your outro sucks !!

Posted by john2 on Jul-14-2005 02:37:

Damn these guys are quick (speaking for Bobina ).They sent me a reply regarding their remix of Airwave and it will be released at the end of this year (or at the start of 2006).I'm glad you guys liked the mix .The set was supposed to finish with Love Poison, but as i made this mix for my girlfriend i wanted to add something more. That's why i added the Sunday Afternoon Rework,it's very touching and calms you (also it is like a ballad song, which works perfectly for the reason i made the mix ).Now there is no possible way to mix it as if you lower the bpm to beatmatch it the vocals suck big time.So yeah,it's a simple outro basically and i turned on the volume of Love Poison (you'll notice it when Such Is Life begins) to make the transition smoothly (although Such Is Life starts somehow suddenly). So in other words,it somehow sucks compared to the rest of the mix

great tunes, great mixing, excellent stuff!

dude...download the frikken set already...yeah, i'm talking to YOU.

I just finished listening to this set and I wanted to comment that it is a great mix. Great track progression and mixing is technically excellent. Good job.

I would recommend that you might have wanted to start off with the Rank 1 downtempo rework. I think it would have fit a bit more with the progression of the mix at the beginning.

Regards,
JM-8

I got a little interested when I saw your mix here on TA. Anyways, Some really good tunes and pretty nice mixing too, I don't like the outro at all, But nothing to talk about, Pretty good stuff anyways.

Posted by john2 on Jul-20-2005 02:14:

Glad you like it guys .I wanted to have a different outro. You know like when you finish in a club and you play a downtempo tune to let people know that everything is over (until the next time). Now it didn't work that way after all,lol .Anyway in the next part of Emotions In Motion (which will feature tunes such as Zocalo and Terry Grant - I'll Kill You) i won't have this kind of outro.

I could say that Max gave it to me exclusively or that i got a promo version of it......but i don't like lying so i'll tell the truth. It's a floater which was leaked a month or so ago.

Edit: Don't pay attention to what BloodBath is saying. He's trying to lower my image and make me look like someone who thinks he makes everything perfect and stuff like this, hahahahahaha

Posted by BloodBath on Jul-22-2005 21:37:

one day,the whole world, every living thing on this planet, will speak of John2
its a fact guys,realise it,its already done

so you illegally download tunes and then play them out (without paying for them) thus ruining the industry and ensuring that the artists don't get paid for their hard work and commitment that they provide the music industry?

Pffffff ,it's really hard being a honest guy.Everyone has leaked tunes,a few admit it though. Now if that makes you think that i play with downloaded mp3's be my quest.I don't know you so there is no reason for me to explain or take photos to show you my original cd's.After all it's a free world, believe what you want.If it makes you feel great that i play with illegaly mp3's (you can have mp3's legaly,as when you have the cd's or when you pay for the mp3) or that i make mixes to get a nice feedback with unreleased tunes that's fine with me.But it isn't always the truth what every person thinks it's true .

Posted by Palladium on Jul-23-2005 21:24:

i use mp3s...so what ??

i mix for music...not for money

if you're telling we are destroying the industry...you're been commercial

if i was producer and somebody download my tracks illegally...i won't have a problem...instead i'll be glad that this somebody hear my music and enjoy it...

that's the way music should be
