WOT!

I just can't resist.. I have to tell you,

I'm booked to play at Beach Club Pointe-Calumet 10 years anniversary party on sunday July 31st!

I'm opening for Angel Moraes from 12 to 3!
what better can I ask for ? Ho yeah !! that you all come and party under the sun !

Cover is either 12 or 15... aren'T sure which one
there's a parking lot,
you can't bring your own alcool (they have bars)
you can bring some food if you like.
there's an artificial beach and water sprays on the dance floor.. so don't wear a toxedo.

ok thats something which i'm not too sure about for now...

the guy who booked me, he knows i play trance and prog.
he said that people who go there don'T go cause "this dj plays house, and this other dj plays techno" they don't care... they go there for the place...

I told him i was thinking of playing only prog cause of angel... and he told me to bring trance and techno to cause i will be playing for 3h and the peak time starts at around 1'o something. so he wants me to drive to crowd after warming up people.

anyways... here's what i'm gonna do
I'll bring the best stuff i have and play depending on the crowd

so i will drop a few trance rec for sure.

the owner or whatever from the club called me at the last minute to tell me that theres a double booking on my timeslot and that they are cancelling me for this "resident" that plays there once a month and that they will "try" to book me for some other time (yeah the summer is finished almost and everything is booked for whats left of it)

I have lots of friends and friends of friends and cousins that were waiting for this day... the were more primed than me for that day... they would have really loved to hear me there and party like crazy.

people are gonna loose respect for me.

You have no idea how i feel right now... I'm doing my best to have at least a short time to play and show him that he made a mistake by cancelling me.

SO im back from the club... i didn'T get to play but at least i got paid and some hope to get some other gigs... but fuck man... my crowd was really down and some even loose interest.

dj Tron Huu was there (a dj that was playing at Living few years ago on sundays playing prog and trance with Mich & Sultan) we spoked for a while, felt good to have at least someone that understand my point of view that day

anyways,,. its finished for me... i'm not doing any massive emailing to invite people at my gigs... its not worth it... not until i get book by respectable clubs.

PS and I don'T want to pass like for a fake but heres the flyer I took on a website and it shows my name. lol that flyer helped me getting all kinds of benefits today heheh... alcool, cover charge free for my friends, they ven wanted to send me someone with a jeep to pick up my records (which i didn'T had of course) each time i was telling the staff that i was dj the people around me were all amazed like "WOW you'Re a dj ? when you spin ? what you spin ? whats your name ?"
