Favorite DJ thus far
I know a thread was made about this before, but it was before Ferry made his way to the NE. Now that he has, which dj this year so far has thrown down better for you?
Me... I have to say as far as keeping me dancing the entire night and just throwing down a hard set then it was PvD. He also gave me a very memorable night on NYE. But Armin, he is still the man. March 18th was a great time but his past appearance in June was spectacular. I think him showing up late even made the night that much more exciting because when he finally showed up he laid it down from that point on. He just knows what tracks to play and when to play them. My favorite style of trance too. Would still love to see how he would do at Crobar or even Fur!!!
in the 3 hours youve been clubbing, how many DJs have you seen?? just curious...

mostly pvd, mainly because of the 7 hr. sets i saw him do in ny over the last few years. right now though j00f is doin' it for me, that guy is insane, bangin' all night long!

Yeah, I have heard a lot about him. Maybe I will check him out on the 27th. Howells, I have heard a lot of good things and wouldn't mind checking him out either. Now, for Tenaglia... I am sure some day I will go out of my way to catch a set but I have a live mix of his and if that is his style of house then to be honest... it doesn't interest me much. Seems like he likes too many cheesey vocal house tracks. There is some tribal in there, which I love, so if that is more his style then I dunno. Either way, I am sure Ill check him out by the end of the year.
Digweed, now there is a dj I cant wait to see. Global Underground LA is one of my fav EDM cds of all time.

trance category
- i think i have to go with ferry... he had SIX hours vs armin's three in ny, and kept up the energy for all six hours. (i have not seen pvd since new year's eve, and i must say all the life was sucked out of his set because of the fights... after he turned down the volume, you could tell he just wasn't into it)
non-trance
- you know... i'm having a hard time choosing this one... i'll get back to you on this one

So far this year the best trance set i've heard was Tiesto @ Space, and best House was def Howells @ Spirit, both very incredible nights to say the least
In 2005
my vote goes to
Deep Dish @ Nikki Beach WMC Week - DESTROYED IT LITERALLY
everyone was grooving to pete tong then 1 pitcher of mojito later, i notice the place is packed and everyone is jumping to The Killers - Mr Brightside (thin white duke yadda yadda mix). I stood n smiled and continued on snowboarding the slopes and quenching my mojito thirst.
Top 5
1 - Sasha @ Buzzlife Nations (approx 2003)
2 - Paul Van Dyk @ Sound Factory
3 - Underworld @ Hammerstein Ballroom
4 - DJ Tiesto @ Limelight
5 - Ferry Corsten & Armin @ Levels WMC 2002
+10 for howells i just got some new sets.....
The man is amazing...
