MLB All-Stars 2005

Well, Today is the All-Stars game, Hope you guys saw the homerun derby last night, It was unbelievable, Bobby Abreu of the Philidaphia Phillies getting 24 homeruns, On top of that, Setting a new record, Quite an amazing proformance, I think that set the tone for tonight's game. Several of my Florida Marlins players are playing for the NL, So I see the National League winning tonight, Anyways, What do you guys think?

National League all the way!

Actually I think it might be a close game. You have sluggers and pitchers on both teams so i think it'll be a good battle.

I'm just happy Cordero and Hernandez (from the Nationals) made the team. They're the only 2 players from Washington to make it. I'm rooting for Chad all the way.

my suggestions to improve the All-Star game:

1. get rid of the artocity known as "winner gets home field advantage"

2. get rid of the DH in the AL, but keep the DH only for the all star game, so more players have a chance to be in the lineup.

It's gonna be a great game, I think Florida Marlins pitcher Dontrell Willis will be the starter.

he SHOULD be

but it'll be Chris Carpenter of the Cards

This game could go down to the wire, But it all depends what happens right on the 1st ining, Which could set the tone for the game.

its gonna be Chris Carpenter actually
Dontrelle woudve been better

I agree I hate how they made the allstar game decide who gets homefield advantage
I mean come on, fuck that
the teams records should decide that.

This game still dosnt mean anything to the players, just look at Pedro
yeah 4 Marlins players tonight and a whole lot of Cardinals
At least my teams are represented well

True, The whole thing for winning for homefield advantage is kind of meaningless, If you think about it, But regardless, It's gonna be fun to watch all the players compete at there best.

Man Eckstein is the best shortstop the national league team can muster.... . Eh lot like Nomar Garciapara Hamm would make it if he were healthy.

The game right now is still scoreless, And were getting to the bottom of the 2nd.

Edit: AL just got 1 homerun just now.

i think its funny that they kept talking about how larussa was taking the game serious because he felt that his team was at a disadvantage without home field in the world series and now he is getting shutout through 5.
