NYC Marathon - Team for Kids

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be running the NYC Marathon this year on November 6th! I am doing the marathon as part of a charity team, the NYRR Foundation Team for Kids. My teammates and I are raising money to help kids to join Running Partners, an acclaimed youth development program that serves New York City children who have little or no access to structured physical education.

I have committed to raise $2,500. Your contribution will help pay for the training, supplies, uniforms, events, and transportation that make Running Partners happen, and will truly give kids a running start.

That's absolutely awesome, I love running but there is no way in HELL I would EVER be able to discipline and train myself enough to run 26 miles, hell no! I admire each and every person who even attempts it, regardless of whether they finish. Wow... props to you and what a great cause to support too. I will pass this along for sure.

You can do anything you put your mind to! If you like running, you should try some of the New York Road Runners races. They are fun and addictive..
