the most annoying thing in the world.....

... is when of your smoke alarms (for some reason, there are like 20 smoke alarms in my apartment - i guess someone warned them about my cooking skills) is dying, and its fucking beeping every 10 seconds, and you cant remove the battery or replace it because it is located up on a high vaulted ceiling, and its midnight, so you cant even call maintenance.

and you're sitting home, just listening to the fucking beeping, and its
slowly
driving
you
crazy!

sorry... i cant do anything about it so i just had to rant about it.

why dont you take your shoes and try to throw at it ? im sure you got tons of shoes to throw at it good thought for next time if it happens again

I'd be up for blasting pvd @ orgasmatron and when people complain to management, you tell them you'll turn it down when they fix the fucking smoke detectors cuz obviously when you complained about the thing beeping like hell they didnt do shit.

i was reading this thread and my smoke alarm just went off. WTF?! it only made like 5 beeps and that was it. really loud and annoying though. i jumped out of my fucking chair!

WTF???!!! its going off in like 30 second intervals now. this is fucking weeeird!!! and annoying!

dont you hate it when you take the battery out of the alarm the shit still beeps for a couple of minutes.

when i woke up, it wasnt beeping anymore.
i told danny to call maintenance today and tell them to come fix it, because i bet it will start beeping again when i'm trying to sleep.

did he call them today? no.

and it starting beeping again, oh, about 2 hours ago. it waits until i am trying to chill and watch tv and then it starts to beep and drive me nuts.

oh and i would like to thank all of you who sent me the "beep" texts. that was cute reeeeeeeal cute. you know who you all are!
