Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo review

Lquid todd was hot because he played peak time tracks. new order - crystal (lt remix??), white stripes - 7 nation army (freeland remix??) banging ass shit that had me all over the place. played some real heavy bass stuff.

Hernan played more of a warm up set....kept it down tempo but good tracks and solid mixing, would love to see him play more of a peak time set again. Also played a classic trance track I think was on Sasha's "Ibiza" cd but can't be sure. Then he dropped Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp (sick) then he closed it out with Chab's - Closer to Me ( I think the Bedrock remix) fucking HOT track, perfect to close it out.

Oakey was surprisingly decent..solid mixing..He kept the Jesus poses to minimum. Oakey played all classics, Tilt - 12 (max graham mix) , Three Drives - Greece 2000 (some mix I don't think anyone has ever heard, very cool), Moogwai - Viola (Tek_Tonik mix), Tiesto - Traffic, Gabriel & Dresden- Arcadia etc....

lol... awesome... i'm intrigued as to what the 'ibiza' track was... possibly Sander's My Lexicon? or Medway - Bassline Track? That CD is amazing. Glad u had fun, wish I could check Hernan out this weekend but I'm leaving town. I saw him back in December & he was rockin' space

damn i wonder if it was natious - amber (silk remix), last track on disc 1...that track is sooo fuckin' sick, would love to hear in a club.

hernan is my new fav right now man, he frieking rocks it man, and definitely loved him on the dancefloor! please try to do that more often!

uhh it seems to me that oakey it cleaning up his act a little bit. he doesnt look like that much of a crackhead anymore either. maybe hes finally noticed that people think he sucks now lol
