Since they are slated for a 4 hour set, apparently they are set to hit the decks @ 10pm @ Celebs. Would that ever happen tho???

And I wonder which version of Say Hello they will play, hehe. I am liking the Chus & Ceballos version alot these days.

I really don't think it's going to be a 'gay' night. Well, if you're using ye olde English, then yes, we're gonna have a gay ole time -- but I think Blueprint is just using the venue (sound system there is supposedly very good?), thus, it's not aimed directly at the gay community (tho gays are more than welcome to sample the tastaaay pizza). Not to mention that the steep ticket prices ($40+??) will prolly turn quite a few people away. Bah, what do I know tho. We shall see how it goes

Got to the club @ 10:30pm to find a short line up. I line up while my friend goes to see whether there's a different line for tick holders.

Then a regular patron turns to me and says, "What's going on here tonight?"

I reply, "It's Deep Dish tonight."

*blank look on dude's face*

I continue, "Big house duo, from Washington.. ??"

*blank look ensues*

I say with an ever-so-slight smirk, "It's $40 to get in"

*he eases away from line*

At this point, my friend waves me over to the ticket lineup, so I dunno if said patron continued on or not. Too funny heh.

All the usual suspects were played - including, Dreams, Flashing for $, and of course, Saaaaaaay Helloooo. I think they ended with that Coldplay tune?

I didn't dig the entire set, there were some parts that seemed a bit monotonous -- but a good nite all in all. For $37, I would have hoped for at least 4 hours (as advertised), but we got 3 instead.

He was just unplugging things and plugging them back in... I asked him if he knew what he was doing. He was some Brit kid who I think was just happy to be there.

And I can't believe this... there was this dude there who was fucked off his tree!!! I mean, it's fucking 7pm at Virgin records, and dude was totally SPUN! WTF??

Anyway, it was only 1/2 hour, I talked to the guy spinning before hand, I had no idea who he was at the time, but I was told him I couldn't make it to Celebrities, and he said well you should come to the afterparty... I'm sure there'll be one....

I replied.. Ya right man, this Monday night in Vancouver! You're lucky to even find an OPEN club tonight, let alone Electronic music! Afterparty, good luck!

Hope I didn't sound too arrogant, but he looked as if he already knew that.
