Give me some good Zabiela Sets

All the 'elitists' on this forum continue to rave about Zabiela. So other than his two mix albums, gimme some of his top notch, groud-breaking, dancefloor smashing, orally orgasmic, continually raved about sets.

It starts off kinda slow for someone who's not really a fan of his, but from the Lost in Translation samples to the end is one of the best endings to an EM ever. That part right there prompted my switch from Trance.

Well I just finished listening to it, and boy was it brilliant. I wasn't too sure whether he was playing songs or sampling different stuff to make a song during a lot of the parts. There were a lot of famililar vocal samples like 'Killa' and what not. I really liked the remix of Ficta-Eli he played too. Great song. The ending was brilliant. Pretty slow and relaxed really enjoyed.

Now listening to 2002.

+1 I wasn't really a fan of his style till I heard tracks off Utilities LIVE on a great sound system...and the show he puts on and the energy he exudes is just one of a kind...

i love james zabiela...and essential mix 2004 is up there with my favourites

theres way more vanilla sky samples then lost in translation samples...to be honest..i dont even hear any samples from lost in translation, just that song from the soundtrack

Well, his Utilities 2xCD (and the EP too, actually) is utterly boring shit, other than that I don't know what he's been playing lately, so I'd go for his Essential Mixes. I like them both equally.

but cd1 on utilities is just so bassy and bouncy..how is that boring?

I always blast my music loud. I dunno, I just find the whole thing plain. There's just nothing to really *listen* to.

I haven't said anything about his live DJing. This is a studio CD meant for home listening.
