This is why George Carlin is my hero.

So at one of his standup appearances, some guy was heckling him from the audience - so George stops the show and retaliates.

Here you go... (works only in Internet Explorer). Have your sound on.

So fucking phenomenal. I can't wait till he comes back to Canada. It's been too long since I saw him.

The first time I heard this, I honestly fell out of my chair when he told the guy he hopes his kid dies in a car fire.

I laughed for a solid 10 minutes. Couldn't believe it.

I thought that was the only point he was stepping over the line..

But then again, this is the guy who gave me the broadest definition of the word 'FUCK' That i've ever heard. Thanks to him, my vocabulary will never be the same.

ROAD TRIP

Posted by Jer on Jul-19-2005 04:54:

Which reminds me, I'd give almost anything to hear Eddie Murphy do stand up again.

Posted by Endlesswave on Jul-19-2005 05:16:

haha that's wicked.
Jon Stewart is in town in October on the 9th I think. I plan on seriously trying to go.

Posted by The Highroller on Jul-19-2005 05:32:

Where can I find more of this guy?

Posted by Orko on Jul-19-2005 12:38:

That was awesome!!! I cant believe my beloved conductor just said that about his kid!

My parents have records (that right RECORDS) of Carlin sets from the 70's.

I think he was actually dirtier back then!

Posted by Irishaddict on Jul-19-2005 16:17:

Wow.

Is it possible to rent George Carlin for a day? I know a couple people that would ultimately benefit from hearing something along those lines.

Try reading his 2 books Napalm & Silly Putty and Braindroppings. All of his best skits in two books.

Posted by VERTiG0 on Jul-19-2005 21:41:

My parents also have many of his old records from the 70s.
