Fleetwood Mac - Tell Me Lies [AXC Remix] [192kbps full house track]
Just thought I'd post a remix of a fleetwood mac song I made a couple of weeks ago in case anyone's interested.
* Download here *
Enjoy, please comment if you're anything other than indifferent
Alex
/me cant stand house.
But I like AXC.
Youre remix is catching the feeling of the original.
Very sweet. Will play this to my girl, Im sure, she will like it as much as I do.
this is nice stuff, pretty basic remix but it is nice
Not my usual style but enjoyed listening to it. Cant really comment on production as listening through some dodgy little speakers as in the middle of moving. All in all sounds good remix. Tom
I (secretly a FM fan) like this mix (maybe after a few wines ;-). FM are allways very good with melodies and i can understand that you wanted to do a trancy version for this one. Very original indeed, maybe it would be better to work with an acapella, but when that one is not available... Overall a nice and original job here.
Thanks for the replies guys, some nice comments!
Yeah, I did look for an acapella of the track, but couldn't find one (for free download anyway), although I think the original music adds some depth to the track as well. Would have been nice to lose the original drums though
Great remix, I love Fleetwood Mac, and you did a good job remixing this.
Bassline is very nice, works well with this track. Using the original track is cool too as the music adds to the track.
One thing though, lose that awful cymbal!
Bassline's awesome.
Nice House work of you. ;P
sounds like something i would play in a warm up set
which is a good thing...nice groove, and I like the bassline...mellow and nice...has kinda summer-ish sound to it, doesn't it?
sweet little liesssss...:-)
very cool..I enjoyed it
Pretty solid work here m8 - Doesn't really go anywhere, but I think that's OK for this track, at least in the context I would drop it.
The piano line is rock solid, and the kind of eery pads that come in around 2:40 are rather nice.
Would like to see a little more work done on this, but this will still probably get a spin out live once or twice from me...
I like the idea for the song and where you started to go with it, but I think when you went in to the original version of the song you stayed in there too long. And there are a few instruments that sound a little general midi that I would tweak out a bit. Keep working, and good ideas.

Awsome fucking shit man, i love house, it's so cool. Give us more.
it's a great origional; and a good idea to remix.
your drums are horrid though - that bassdrum sounds thin and crappy; I'd redo all of the drums if I were you - with better samples (and a layered kick - so important to this style of music)
could do with a bit of a speed up - just 4-5bpm.
why not take that sweet little portamentoed lead in the original and add a new version to yours?
these tracks are all about the basline and bass drum - they need some beefing
electropophouse...
I don't think that this track fits for this forum...no addict no trance...
peace
no its cool not many like trance anymore anyways lol
ps the remix was quite alright
i enjoyed this
sequencing to live instruments can be difficult
Simple, neat and groovy dude
Nice remix
Good feeling of the track. Great job m8.
Peace...
