Traktor 2 problem

At the moment I'm using Traktor DJ Studio 2 @ home for recording mixes. The only problem I find is that the EQ's are difficult to change simulatneously when I can only use the mouse. A problem when I'm swapping bases etc. I was thinking of purchasing an external mixer, and connecting the 2 line-in's to the two line out's of my multi-channel sound card. Has anyone else tried this? How much would I be looking at for a standard 3 band eq mixer?

I use a midi-controller and it works perfect for me.

Yep a midi controller best bet, I looked at the hercules looked pretty cool, what other midi controllers do you guys use?
