completely inexplicable mystery track

An extremely bizarre thing just happened to me: I had amongst my collection John Digweed's MMII cd. It was stored on an external hard drive that was subject to certain malfunctions. I had to use a disk recovery program to save some data... it found my MMII folder (which had been corrupted), so I backed it up to my other hard drive, ran CHKDSK to fix my drive errors, and then got the mp3s back from my other hard drive.

Yet when I ran the recovery program a second time, it still picked up one track, which I recovered:

03 - Bermuda Triangle - Mooger Fooger .

I checked my playlist, which I had saved as an .m3u before changing anything, and the only instance of the song "Mooger Fooger" that I had was from the MMII cd. The ID3 tag info also said it was from MMII. Yet it was a DIFFERENT TRACK than the one I had recoverd the first time (even though the file name was exactly the same). The original track is 5:32, the new one is 4:09. I checked discogs for a version of Mooger Fooger which was that long, but to no avail. Strangely enough, the new file stutters a bit near the end, and then starts into the end of the original MMII version, transitioning smoothly into track 4.

I can only assume that somehow the recovery program mangled two files together, amazingly resulting in a playable file w/ intact ID3 information. And even better, I really like this song! But it doesn't seem to be any of the other tracks from MMII... I have no idea what it is... any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated, or perhaps suggestions as to how this could have happened....
