Honda NSX successor to get V10 engine! YES!

Holy shit! My pants suddently got tight.

< NSX successor >
We are now focused on the development of a new model to succeed the NSX for a new era. We would like to debut a new super sports car equipped with a V10 engine in 3 to 4 years. Please look forward to seeing the NSX successor.

Oh god, finally, Honda! This is the stuff that Ferrari's nightmares are made of.

Honda is obviously trying to tie this in with its F1 technology...that being said...i think they may change to a V8.

F1 is changing next year to V8's, and if Honda is to try and build on its racing heritage, they will need to switch too.

V10's are some of the hardest engine's to balance, so i don't know why they would want to put it in a high revving, small, low, small displacement car.

NSX is by far my fav car, love that V6, now I can just imagine the power of a V10 or V8 whatever they'll chose

Call me ridiculous but I'd take a '99 NSX over a Ferrari 360 anyday.

Posted by MarkT on Jul-21-2005 00:21:

^^^ you're ridiculous

Actually, you can keep both...to me, nothing sounds sweeter than a turbo at full spool

LOL!!! Followed shortly by the sound of your neck snapping!

And Vertigo, sorry but you ARE ridiculous! That is, of course if I had the money to afford both cars and insurance, of COURSE I would choose the 360 over the NSX out of sheer performance!!! WTF!?!!

You're kidding, right? Tsk, tsk, tsk.

PS: The GT2 is something like $259,000 MSRP.

Hmmm italian craftsmanship vs. japanese Integrity.. I honestly don't know which I like better. I do like the NSX, but for me it comes down to telling people whether I drive a Honda or a Ferrari.

YEAH I LOVE HONDAS!!!!!

(too bad mine is like a popcan...damage is so easily done)

More like crapsmanship, heh. The only thing the Ferrari has on the NSX is straight line speed. An NSX can keep up with the Italian stallion in the twisties no problem.

Oh, and did I mention the NSX won't break?

you get what you pay for

twin turbo 3.6 litre V6, I believe...wasn't the really old Lotus Esprit a twin turbo FOUR banger? That's just crazy...

displacement is overrated

*flame suit on*

lol

It's a boxer six dude. Horizontally opposed. Flat. Porsches have never, ever had V6 engines. EVER.
