Talking Asterix & Obelix

Ok i just want to know if anyone else loves these old classic comics. I spent hours when i was a kid reading about the indomitable gauls and i just loved the cheeky humour as well as the brilliant art. Does anyone else love this stuff.

I still see one of these old mags and i have to read it lol. Goscinny and Uderzo were amazing but i've been told the originals in french were even funnier then the english translation (ah well)

Some i remember
Asterix
Obelix
Getafix
Cacafonix
Vitalstatistix the chief
Dogmatix
Unhygenix the fishmonger
Geriatrix

LOL!!! I can't believe someone actually made a thread about Asterix and Obelix!!

Dude I used to LOOOVE those comix! You're right, I love the cheeky humour too. I still have some Asterix and Obelix comics that I accidently "forgot" to return to the library when I was a bratty kid. Thanx for bringing back some memories, I think I'm going to search around my house for these comics. Another one I used to read was Tintin comics.

Also, I'm a closet reader of Archie comics. Damn, I bet I was the only guy to ever have a collection of Archie comics LOL!!!

I used to love Asterix and Obelix! Heheh ...

But LoL ... in Austria the others got different names ... it's really funny to read the english names ... lol.

I remember that this fish guy is called Verleihnix ... and that druid is called Miraculix here ... lol. But the names for Asterix, Obelix and the small dog are the same...
