Ibiza

In ibiza atm anyone going to cream today to see pvd? let me know...

Went 2 weeks ago.

Cream was the best night that I went to by far.

so, I am dying to hear how Paul Van Dyk and Gabriel and Dresden were... would have LOVED to see that

Hey guys...let`s talk about Ibiza...It is the place that I want to go most as a Tranceaddict..Do you think Amnesia and Space are the best clubs for Trance music in the world??

Ibiza #1 for sure. I'm going next summer.

where's Space at?

I've heard good things about Ice in Vegas also. Probably the best I've heard about as far as in the states go.

I'll be in Ibiza one week on August 20th. Plans include AMNESIA, Cream, pacha, space ...

any suggestion? any good restaurants to grab like sandwiches or burritos jaja, any good places with TAPAS??

how are queue te the clubs?? 45 min wait even with internet tickets (will-call)??? thakns

it was a good gig, lots of hands in the air and smiling faces, but the middle of the summer in ibiza still doesn't have the energy of the gigs in eastern europe countries. i find ibiza to be dirty, touristy and over rated.

I was there on Thursday, thought your set was superb Dave, been dying to see you two live for ages and finally got my wish (only out for one week in the season and just happened to be the week you guys were playin!)

Interesting view on Ibiza tho.. Have you/Did you stay for any length of time? Ever been to any other clubs over there?

Places like Space are full of energy, the place just never closes. It's gotta be my favourite place in the world

You'll have the time of your life mate.

Cream @ Amnesia is highly recommended
but you also need to do Carl Cox @ Space on the Tuesday and "We Love Sundays" @ Space.. both will be packed full with the best lineups you can imagine. Also, if you're there for two weeks, check out Lawler and Sasha @ Space (same night as Cream, Thursdays). If you're a bit of a trance freak check out Armin on the Tuesday (Amnesia) and Ferry/Judge @ Eden on a Sunday

One place you must go is the Sunset Strip in San Antonio, visit Cafe Del Mar or Cafe Mambo around 9pm for the sunset! coolest place on earth!

There are some good places for Tapas everywhere on the island. My favourite restaurant tho had to be "Il Vaticano". It's a small restaurant in San Antonio, food was unbelievable, best filet steak i've ever had! Plus the added bonus of sitting accross from Carl Cox while he's eating his dinner with a friend, then having a little convo+photo with him as he leaves

Space is in Playa Den Bossa, about 10 minutes from Ibiza town, 25 from San Antonio (the two main places to stay). It has to be the best club in the world. I was there for 18 hours last Tuesday night/Wed morning

My plans are:

sunday 21 - ferry corsten at EDEN
monday 22 - maybe roger sanchez at Pacha
tuesday 23 - Armada night with Armin and Markus Schulz at Amnesia
wednesday 24 - maybe Subliminal Sesssions at Pacha
Thursday 25th - Van Dyk at Amnesia
Friday 26th - Armin at Turnmills in London
Saturday 27th - Creamfields w/ Armin, Paul Van dyk, Ferry Corsten, Above and Beyond ...

too bad I wont catch Gabriel and Dresden anywhere ... I hope they play at S.F. loveparade ... please be there ... somebody book them .. so far, the bet producers this year along w/ Armin ..

Maybe you should try to taste a bit of something other than trance/proggy house while over there tho, it's the best place in the world to try going to a different kind of night. Maybe techno -> Sven Vath+Guests on the Monday, Cocoon @ Amnesia or Picotto+Liebing+Guests, Meganite @ Privilege (biggest club in the world)

Or for something really a bit different, try Manumission @ Privilege on the Monday (i'm sure you've heard/will here LOTS about that night, probably the most famous on the island)

I guess I'll go Manumission @ Privilege, I dont really like house that much, I appreciate it, but I enjoy a lot more trance than any other style .....I didnt like that much Sven Vath when I saw him in Amsterdam 3 years ago ... maybe I'd like his performance now ...

I wont miss corsten, armada or van dyk - I've heard so much about Meganite .. i'll be there ..

no man I`m just joking..Just after u left any London airport(Heathrow or Stansted or whatever it is) just ask for a shuttle service to Liverpool. I don`t know anything about that because I have never been to Liverpool but I think it will be much better if you directly fly to Manchester and then pass onto Liverpool by bus..Its much easier and nearer..!

Manumission is a freakshow. A good one, but a freakshow nonetheless.


If you want to mix it up a bit, go to Tidy Vs. Euphoria at Eden on Tuesdays, or if you are brave enough to withstand the music, Westwood plays next door to Eden on Tuesdays at Es Paradis, ladies get in free so there is a good motive to put up with the noise.

tuesdays are reserved for Armada@Amnesia, with a bit of luck you can pick up free tix around the island

other option on tuesday is coxy of course @ space
