Numark CDX scratching

Quick question might be buying one of these this Sunday - can you scratch with key lock/master tempo on? And is the quality any less than with keylock off?

Scratching with the key lock on is a no go with the CDX, I've tried it on mine and the quality just degrades.

Dunno if the problems been fixed on newer models though I got mine when they first came out, highly doubt it but try and go to a store and check it out.

Awesome for scratching without the key lock on though and definitely worth the money you can pick them up for now.

The "head" of the sample floats around when scratching on a CDX. It's incredibly annoying.
