Unfortunately the selection of PSP games sucks a lot.

The game I like best right now is Lumines followed by Wipeout. Lumines is a fun little tetris like puzzler with some funky tunes. Very addictive. You probably know about Wipeout. Standard futuristic racer. New content is constantly created for it by its producers and is available for download via the PSP's wireless functionatlity. There's also a hack that lets you use the Wipeout download browser to surf the web on your system... pretty neat little feature.

Sony seriously needs to get some developers behind this system. It's been out for a while now and the support is just terrible. I'm just using my PSP as a movie/tv show player at this point - thanks to a new memory stick

yeah selection really does suck.... here are a couple games that i can't wait for

- Death Jr.
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006
- Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories
- The Godfather
- Crash Bandicoot

BTW, if u r not using ur WiFi, turn it off because people will hack into ur system and fuck it up

Really? It sucks up battery life too. Turn it off people!

I'm really looking forward to Winning Eleven 9. If you're a soccer fan you must have this! The wireless play will be ridiculous. If you happen to know enough people PSP's you'll be able to field an entire team (or so the rumor goes).

Sony's gonna release a major patch for the system soon. They'll finally add a real browser and the much requested wallpapers as well.

Grand Theft Auto needs to come out... and a good RPG, Final Fantasy is the only one I'm interested in I guess. That's about all I'd play.

For the 1.50 firmware users, there exists a web browser. There's a pretty abundant supply of homebrew programs in existence. Quake has already been ported to it. Snes, genesis, nes, sega master, emulators, Scumm emulator, and people can develop their own programs for it.

Definitely can't wait for GTA because I agree, the game selection at the moment really sucks! GTA will be out Sept 1.

I agree, Ridge Racer is good. I have Tiger Woods and like it but I like sports games most. My best game though is Fifa Soccer.

I want to get Wipeout to see about the web browser. Thanks for the tidbit about turning off the Wifi.

I think it's difficult though to control everything with the controller for fast paces action games like the soccer one. That's why I think the Final Fantasy game has a lot of appeal for me. Got to get that 9/13. Legend of Heroes is another RPG out in October.

I would LOVE to see Final Fantasy come out for PSP. If GameCube can have Crystal Chronicles, why can't PSP have a FF installment of their own?

Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade is an action RPG, and isn't bad at all. I have it.

May I recommend AGAINST getting Metal Gear Acid. It's a strategy based game with Metal Gear's storyline.

If you like Street Fighteresque games, DarkStalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower. Be warned: pulling off fireball/dragon-ounch type moves is very painful on the thumb on the PSP.

I'm doing the same thing. The software I got with the USB cable that converts video files to MP4, which the PSP can read, is killer. The only drawback to the memory stick is how some space is needed for the file format. So instead of 512MB, you have 468MB, and with the 32MB stick, you have 30MB. Wish there were some way around this.

Regardless, it's still one hell of a way to kill time at work and keep me from getting bored easily. The UMD movies rule, except they don't have DVD extras like behind the scenes, deleted scenes, etc.
