If Egypt, why not France? Germany?

Who is next?

We had a bomb scare here in Toronto....

One of our major banking buildings downtown was evacuated...

If you want to kill Israelis, why not stick to Israel?

Hitting markets, taxi stands, etc. I'll wager more Egyptians come out of this one dead then Israelis.

Sharm el-Sheikh is not an "Israeli destination" - it most defintely is a "International destination".

Sharm el-Sheikh is a popular spot for Israelis

Anyway, Egypt has a long history of terrorism against tourists and considering the ideology of Islamism it isn't suprising

isn't that usually the case. in Nairobi the majority of victims were African civilians

It's only a matter of time until the US gets hit. I'm surprised we haven't got hit yet.

Maybe Tranceplant means something bigger than 2001-09-11?

Oh that's right terrorists groups only attack their targets once.

I don't think their will be another large attack like 9/11 again, but, I think the US might get similar attacks to the ones the UK has gotten in these last few weeks.

Maybe you should have said, "It's only a matter of time until the US gets hit again" instead of dismissing 9/11 altogether.
There wouldn't have been a question otherwise...
(assumption is something we don't do on these boards; leads to too many trivial arguements)

No its not. Not during the summer. Sinia/Egypt is a "passover" destination. Europe is a summer destination for Israelis.

The casualty reports attest to this fact - 83 killed so far. Mostly Egyptians and "Among the dead were two Britons, two Germans and an Italian, he added, and Czech officials said one Czech tourist was also killed. Rescue workers were still searching for victims at some attack scenes.".

"The attack, Egypt's deadliest terror hit ever, appeared well coordinated. Two car bombs, possibly by suicide attackers, went off simultaneously at 1:15 a.m. just more than 2 miles apart. A third bomb, believed hidden in a sack, detonated around the same time near a beachside walkway where tourists often stroll at night."

My point is, obviously the Muslims do not even car anymore whether they kill there own. What is to stop them form attacking the Germans, French, etc if they get some thought that it might help their interest?

How has this attack helped global terrorists?

Oh that's right most people forgot about 9/11. Everytime we talk about terrorism it's suppose to be mandatory to mention 9/11.

No need to be snarky, I'm meerly pointing out that people like to conveniently leave facts out to fit their arguements.

The U.S. has been the target of many terrorist attacks over the last 10 years which leads me to ask, why would your orginal post dawn any speculation or suggestion at all of another attack?

We all know that until the core players responsible for plotting are caught, there should be no speculation at all.
It's foreboding and expected, which is the whole underlying current driving the world to uproot the cause.
Who wants to live in a world of fear?

Why the hell would, I conveniently leave out 9/11? Was, I suppose to trick people into forgetting 9/11. You figured me out.

The US has been a target for almost 25 years. Do you remember the marines and sailors who got blown to bits in Beirut? The reason, I was speculating the US was due for a attack was because the UK has been hit twice in two weeks. So it's natual to think the same could easily happen to the US.

Their should be no speculating just because you say? I guess the CIA, NSA and the FBI should quit speculating and preparing for the next possible attack on US soil.

Actually I like the US alot, I am from the US, my family goes back over 350 years in this country, including fighting in the revolution.

I just hate the Bush Administration, not really for their policy, I mean alot of his policy is pretty common US doctrine, its just the people in his administration... they are literally stupid. Just watching them on TV... its like... what the fuck?

YOu think his people are stupid?? these ppl went to yale and ivy league schools. Hisi ppl aren't as stupid as bush is. I mean how many times has he fallen of a bicylce while being prez? like four times and than the one time he nearly died cuz he choked on a pretzel. Bush is incredibly stupid its what makes him appealing to a lot of americans. Because he reminds them of the way they are.

You're family has been here for 350yrs?! thats pretty incredible. I am first generation and I plan on leaving this country once i am done with college. Say you wouldn't have any family items dating back like in the civil war wouldl you??

Why are we arguing about the same side?
It's not like I wasn't agreeing with you...

Well, in a way even if they catch the big leaders, i'm sure the attacks wont stop until nobody wants to join those terrorists groups/army (wtv u call them). Because even though they catch the leaders, I'm sure they have thought about the new leaders who would take place etc...

Stopping terrorism is gonna take a long time unfortunately. As long as they can catch teenagers (as an example) to enter their organisations, it's not gonna stop and it's pretty easy for them in some areas to get attention from the poor and unknown future population.

So, my 2 cents I guess, it's what I think....subway, bus attacks are gonna be more frequent and it's kinda impossible to stop them all unless they really do check 1 by 1 everyone before entering but then again someone could blow himself in line so...same shit, same result, people die

If we only knew the answer to that question...
