Dunno Need to upgrade my computer...computer building experts plz help!!

I have a old puter that freeze up all the time, it's a AMD K6-750 w/ 512 SDRAMs....etc

it's due for an upgrade long ago!!

Is it a good deal? or do u guys have any other recommendation

I'll just pull the sound card off the old puter or buy a much better one

It's a bare bones system. Add a hard drive, and you're there, at least until you decide you need peripherals.

All in all, this is a decent buy. There is a big rebate involved, but that system is priced about what its worth. If you're going to use this as a base to build, you could do much worse.

These can come out of old systems and into new, usually only by connecting a cable or two.

For what you're getting, it's a decently priced package, assuming you get all the rebates. Rebates have become quite shady; often the company will tell you that you didn't send everything they needed, or that there was something incorrect and you dont get your rebate. Whether you do get your rebate or not depends on how much effort you're willing to put into getting it...

yeah, cd drives and the like are very very easy to install too. Just read one of thousands of online guides to show you how to if you're unsure
