Junkie, BBB, Deep Dish and Oakey rocked the shit out of the place...we were all thouroughly impressed with Oakey's turnaround after the past few years, he did go a bit 99 epic and a bit tech trancier like he usually does...Rush was fucking ginormous, too bad we tried to beat the crowd out and missed Boomerang...hopefully he'll keep it up, his mixing was spot on. Deep Dish dropping the extended mix of Say Hello out of some other mix of it had the place going unbelievably fucking mental.

but wwwwhat the fuck was up with one god damn bathroom in the entire place unless you wanted to climb Mt Everest to that visitors center...shit was brutal.

Jase you missed a hell of a show! Sorry you couldn't make it

Jes from Motorcycle was awesome as well. I really like the new track that she sung.

I flew to Denver and stayed w/ Shawn Mitiska, who gladly took Tyler Michaud and I around the Denver area and to Red Rocks to show us how the Coloradians rock the house, lol.

The Red Rocks venue was amazingly epic looking with the great huge rock formations. Such a great place for a night of EDM.

Junkie XL was the first big name that we sat through and watched. He was pretty decent. I have seen him twice before this and he put on a better show those two times, but he still rocked the house.

Near the end of Junkie's set Shawn was about to start his on the second stage so I left to go see his set. Shawn played a pretty funktastic set. It had a good electro vibe, with some trance. He played some sick ass tunes. He also played 2 of his own productions ("Day Dream" & "Sympolce") which rocked as well. He looked like he was having such a fun time spinning and his energy on stage was definetly better than anyone I have seen. Go Shawn!!!

After his set Myself, Shawn, Tyler, Shawn's Girlfriend & her friend went down close to the main stage and watched the rest of the show.

Bad Boy Bill was actually pretty good. I had never heard any sets by him before and he definetly threw down some hot tracks. One that stood out was Bodyrockers - "I Like The Way..." such a bad ass tune! Next came Deep Dish which definetly surprised me. They played a damn good set, got me dancing pretty good. Of course by this point all the E-Tards were wondering around and being obnoxious asking people if they had more pills. Was kinda sad to see all that shit, especially when you would hope people are there for the music and not for the substances. Oh well.

Next on the decks was Jes from Motorcycle. The first song she sang was boring, I hope it's not going to be a single. Then her second and final song was (obviously) As The Rush Comes. She was decent overall.

Finally Oakenfold came on to play his set. I have seen him 3 times previously and he did a pretty good job 2 out of the 3 times I saw him. I didn't expect much from this set and in the end he didn't deliver much so I wasn't too shocked. His set got rather boring and he played too many old tracks as usual. Oh well. He was decent but he still needs to work on mixing. You'd figure he'd have that down by now after more than a decade of doing this?

All in all, it was a good night.
