Define any one genre with one song.

I was thinking about this I just wanted to see what kinds of responses I would get. I`ll start it off simple. You can get into specifics of genres if you would like, for example; tech-trance or progressive tech house. However you would like to define any type of EDM go ahead and go for it.

Trance - Paul Van Dyk - For an Angel
Tiesto - Flight 643

Posted by RebeL9 on Jul-23-2005 14:09:

you call Flight 643 as a good example of trance?
allow me to laugh

Posted by NuDarkBeat on Jul-23-2005 14:12:

dude if your not gonna contribue then stfu. i didnt say it was good trance but it falls under the genre you gimp. not to mention it is a good track, what are you scared to admit you might like a tiesto production. go jump on another persons bandwagon out of my thread.

I guess you could call Flight 643 trance, though if you want to get into sub-genres it'd be tech-trance. It just doesn't have the same build-ups and breakdowns as a traditional trance track.

Flight 643 is like... shitty wannabe tech-trance.

it was a very weak example of a trance track. you couldnt come up with a better one? this has nothing to do with Tiesto hating/loving etc.

Posted by NuDarkBeat on Jul-23-2005 14:24:

Perhaps you should illegally download some then until you can recognise the sounds? After all, this is probably what this thread is for.
