not so much the kind just out of the laundry but more along the lines of designs...

ive been thinking of starting a tshirt line as a side to my life and was wondering what kind of stuff you people look for in a tshirt... what catches your eye?

think of this as market research

also: maybe post some shirts you find really cool instead of an answer.

But seriously, I had the same idea of getting my own clothing line, so I bought a pile of polo shirts and plain black and white long sleeve shirts for me to customize myself...got to learn how to use a sowing (how you spell it) machine first...

my theories are as follows:

1) the logo shouldn't be dead center on the shirt (off to the side maybe? or on the back of the shoulder...or maybe on the side of the torso)

2) robots! can't go wrong with robots

3) cool designs are a plus...but a big thing with me is words. i haaaate when it says something stupid. like "Respect"...ugggh. saw this cool shirt at guess...neat color, cool lil design but it said something rather retarded on it and i decided against it.

4) think clubwear. would i go out to a club in this? sure its funny and makes me laugh...but c'mon, if were to go to *insert hot club here* i could look like a douche

thats about all i can think of. OH vintage cut stuff too (for guys shirts). you know...little bit shorter and fitted. always a plus

what are you thoughts on remixing clothing such as remixing the tide logo to say "jive" (its been done)
