Arrow Turntable/Mixer Stands

Hey guys,
After taking some time and looking on these forums, I still am not able to find an appropriate solution for a turntable/mixer stand.

I just moved into my new place 2 months ago with my 2 roommates and started my new job. The place is big, so size is no question (I even have a pool room). My room is pretty big also and I can move around most of my stuff to accomodate more furniture.

I purchased this desk from staples, glass surface, mainly a computer desk that I use for my laptop, files, etc. Even though I have my turntables, mixer, cd player, reciever and laptop on it right now, I feel that the table (expecially the glass section) will not withstand any more weight. So now I have to seriously look into purchasing a table that can accomodate for 2 turntables, a 10" mixer, a cdj-800, and mabe some room at the bottom of the table for my reciever and vinyl.

From what I have read on the forums, the Sefour stands are the way to go. However I dont have (and will not dare spend) over $400 on a stand. The Vinyl File DS1 and DS2 do sound appealing (p[ricewise), but I have not found a retailer located in the united states.

In all I am asking for some suggestions in finding the appropriate furniture. If you can suggest something in the price range of $100-$250 i would be quite pleased. However If you can also suggest building one, I would like to know how you would go about doing so(and if you did build one, please show images

Well i know i can trust you guys for some help, and any other suggestions would be great.

P.S. I would LOVE to see some custom table stands that you fellow TA's have worked on!!!

Thanks,
Damien

i've been looking for a dj table also, but haven't been able to find anything i like at a reasonable price. so now i'm leaning toward making my own. i believe some people over on djforums or futureproducers have made their own.

something like this http://www.deconomix.com/products.html

it's just made of mdf that you can buy at your local mega-hardware store. usually you can have them cut it or you can find a woodworking place to cut them for you or if your good then cut it yourself.

i gotta work on some measurements first. hopefully i can make it the size i want and have it fit in my room.

and hopefully i got off my lazy ass and work it out.

that previous link of dj stands looks really easy to make if you can be bothered!

I couldnt be assed making a custom dj stand so I just got the Sefour X30 stand. Sweet ass costly stand but once you build it, its as solid as a rock. Its also a good height for me, no more back ache which used to happen with the previous table!

Well i'm in the same boat as yourselves, i didn't want to spend upwards of 500 euro so decided to design a table that looked like the Sefour X30, i only designed it as i'd have measurements etc, where to cut the wood and where to make holes etc.

This is what i came up with:

and finally the raw version..

I've also bought all the wood but i now have a tone of work to do so haven't been able to build it yet.

Soon though

I have an On-Stage keyboard stand and It's better than most things I've seen. You should probably expect to pay between $80-$180 for one but it's worth it. Make sure you get the heavy duty double-braced stand and if you have a dual cd display like me, you better get the two-tier stand. Don't go with the shitty $15 stand, it's not sturdy at all.

Quik Lok is also a good brand:

Just find a nice, thick piece of plywood and cut it into the dimensions you need:

Here's a good shot of the second tier that holds my cd display:

Sorry about the crappy pics. I think you get the idea.
