Canada wins dumbest gov't at World Stupidity Awards

"MONTREAL (CP) - The Canadian government secured a surprise win Friday, beating out such luminaries as Iran, North Korea and the United States, for the dumbest government of the year at the World Stupidity Awards.

I don't care about $100 bribes here and there to underpaid officials... I'm more concerned about the integrity and independence of the judicial branch of government.

I think there's corruption everywhere it's just here it doesn't control the people, or if it does then we don't realize it. (and lets face it, it works pretty well no? Most Canadians have no SERIOUS complaints about being in Canada).

That being said, the corruption here is nothing compared to Africa, many parts of Asia, parts of Eastern Europe etc. (Oh nevermind South America).

Anyone who thinks Canada's federal politics are INSANELY corrupt then they've been on the seperatist bandwagon for far too long. Sowwy

With a deficit of 413 billion (11 Trillion Real deficit) last year, and a terrible economic record throughout this administration I dont see how they are doing much money. If your talking about bush`s friends making money, well thats not really the point of a governement, quite the contrary so they are terrible.

Also a hike in the trade deficit of over 20% to record levels of 600 billions this year even with an ever dropping dollar is not proof that the US governement is doing a very good job
