an abortion?
vandalism?
sex in public places?
animal cruelty?
drunken driving?
maybe the porn collection?
spending umpteen hours in front of a computer?

or would you not hide anything?

i don't think i'd have much to say about myself if held back stuff.

i don't think i'd have much to say about myself if held back stuff.

I do have a kid, he is 5. I am certainly not going to share any stories with him until he is much older because

1. It will just give him ideas.
2. Later on in life if he does something similar he will use what I told him against me in order to get out of trouble.
3. kids have big mouths, you tell one kids, they tell the next, and the next tells his mom....next thing you know the whole neighborhood knows everything about you.

Drug use? Drink with moderation... pretty much the same way I was taught (and eventually ditched alcohol altogether)

setting stuff on fire? Done it but safely (I incinerate my trash in my barbecue grill)

an abortion? I'm ashamed of my father for having done this. If I banged someone, I'd have the descency of dealing with the consequences. He may be a good father, but he's a very weak person.

vandalism? Never done it, if I ever did, I'd tell them the problems I might've got into if I had done.

sex in public places? Why would I tell them about my sex life? Parents don't do this sort of stuff!

animal cruelty? I did drown some ants back when I was 7, but I can't imagine why this would be brought up - I wouldn't hide it though.

drunken driving? Never done it.

maybe the porn collection? I incinerated it, hehe. I don't think my computer files would be compatible with whatever technology my children would use.

spending umpteen hours in front of a computer? Nothing wrong with it, since I use my computer for loads of different purposes.

I wouldn't hide anything. In fact I want him to teach my children how to drink so they don't get fucked up the first time like I did. Also will talk with them about sex I figure that will scare them and make them wait for marriage. Also tell them if they ever EVER use drugs or smoke cigs I ll kill them.

Things I wouldn't share until they were old enough (my age):

All the drugs I've done.
All the women or experiences with women I've had (minus little stories about my highschool sweet heart or something like that if he has one)

All the shit I do when Im drunk or drugged off my ass......you know, all those crazy shinanigans and stories i tell. None of them for the ears of my future child.

I wouldn't tell the child my personal beliefs on religion. I don't know, i want my kid to make up his/her own mind. I figure I'll just give the basic shpeal and have open discussion about it throughout life.

other than that- no clue
