-- Lucid dreaming anyone?

Lucid dreaming anyone?

Has anyone here mastered the art of Lucid Dreaming? Lucid dreaming means being being aware that you are dreaming and in controll of your dream. You can go anywhere and do anything...

I swear im going to see pvd in japan once I learn how to take control.

I saw PVD on a HUGE worm on the beach. I just jumped over the fence, but the worm became a trampoline and bounced me into the water. I swam back and back on the worm trampoline, and it threw me again. This happened like 15 times

yep, there is a technique I use to practice, i look at the time very often and try to make the clock go a minute back with my mind, if it doesnt happen then i know im not sleeping but if i am able to do it that is what opens my awareness to know I am dreaming (obviously i cant do it in real life) and from that point I try to steer my dreams, sometimes it works othertimes it goes seriously wrong or doesnt make any sense. I will teel u my fav though flying is awesome in my dreams, everytime I do it I wake up feeling so good its almost like a sense of freedom.

I been in control of my dreams a few times before....i dont know how i did it tho :|

Posted by euphoria on Jul-28-2005 19:49:

its funny you mention pvd , i dreamed of him the other day and i wasnt really controlling the dream it was sort of weird....and didnt make much sense.

We were at a pvd event, and pvd got there and said he wasnt going to perform but someone in the dream told me to wait just to be sure. Finally we found out that he was gonna perform but he wanted alot of people to leave so after half the people left he came on. I didnt really see the performance i just knew he came on, and then I was in the dream sleeping and I woke up and it was the end of the concert and i was the only one there and it was really dark. After that i REALLY woke up.

i want a hi lucid....badly.

I want a HI lucid so bad, there are Hi lucids and Low Lucids. In Low lucids stuff is fuzzy and you pass by things without much thought in Hi lucids you are alert and everything is just like the realworld and clear.

Posted by Sunsnail on Jul-28-2005 19:52:

that website made a mistake

Well dreams can be fun but "Lucid Dreams"........ lucid dreams can be as "real" as, or "more" real, than the life your experiencing at the moment!

When they feel too real or start to get crazy I normally end up waking myself up probably since in the dream i am not quite sure its a dream anymore and i panic. Sometimes it sucks cuz it happens during a good one and then your like DAMMIT why did I wake up

You should have stopped and said to yourself "wait a minute..... pvd wouldnt do this IM DREAMING and you probably would have became lucid.

Sex. With anyone I ever fantasized about doing it with.

Hey, at least I'm honest....

I would go on a fucking and saucing spree. If this stuff really works, and you can control any aspect of your dream, I'd do it every night. This is a wonderful idea.

I cant Lucid Dream because i hardly ever dream... i dont know why, maybe its tablets i've been on or whatever. However i still meditate quite frequently.
But Astral Projection...Thats where its at! I've managed it a couple of times. This is where your spirit leaves your body but you are still attached to your physical self by a cord. You can then go/fly to the astral plain. I have never been there, however this is where you will see other spirits and interract.
Really amazing stuff to read about! Once Lucid dreaming is acheived people often move to Astral projection.
Theres some amazing things out there if you just free your mind from reality and just question what is real.

Everyone dreams, always. It's impossible to have REM sleep without dreaming. You just don't remember them.

Posted by KilldaDJ on Jul-29-2005 02:22:

i wish i could get to sleep.

Posted by doubleecho on Jul-29-2005 02:43:

in my dreams i fight alot for some reason, and first i always feel like im moving through water, like real slow and get my ass kicked.

You can Lucid dream there are just some steps you must follow and some habits to be made. Like dream recall if you cant remember your dreams how are you going to remember a lucid dream? I thought Astral projection and lucid dreaming were under the same category because you are still "aware that your body is asleep but your mind is awake, personally i have never experienced an OBE(outer body experience) but i want to really bad.

This link is a good one.

I recommend smoking or making some tea out of Clea Zacatechichi leaves. Your more than likely to find some at your local entheobotanical herbal shop. It is a shamans dream aid used by the natives to induce spiritual, psychedelic and over all, very lucid dreams.

Purchase at least 3 grams (around 5 dollars), because more than likely, you won't achieve lucidity imediatly, and possibly not at all. But very intense and vivid nonetheless. And much more than "regular" dreams. It definatly takes some practice, but it is has been an extremely valuable tool for my dream-awareness.

I recommend trying every second to third day. Smoke or drink some as a tea right before bed until you feel your heart beating through out your body (you will know what I mean). Go to sleep. Explore your sub-conscious through dreaming. It was quite an intense experience for me, and I gained alot of insight about my dreams. Highly recommended.
