5 Years Producing; No external influences... Tell me what you think!
Hey this is MoFo; I've been producing for 5 years now and I have not nor do I network with fellow artists and producers. My only influences are stuff I hear on the radio, clubs, parties, or downloaded. I try and mix it up but most of my best stuff leans towards the trance sound. Please give me some feedback on my style (which is almost completely mainstream) and where I can or should go with it. THANKS!
The trance tracks are "Escape" and "Moonlight Sonata [RMX]".

not bad, i listen to ur first track.
Production wise its pretty good, but the happy hard dancey feel ain't really my style, little to corny for me
after 5 years of producing i expected more :S.
Escape has potentional but needs some more 'power' behind it.
Percussion needs to be powerful and the leads and bass to sound more 'pro'ish
Not bad stuff though!

For your track Escape...
I like the overall melody of your track, but if it was a little slower that would be great. Also minus that ongoing clap.
you guys have to understand... i taught myself... i know no terms i use completely original samples that i myself spent hours generating... i mean i don't get feedback ever... but thanks a lot people... i got an idea of what i should work on... but seriously the whole "i expect more" how do you know what to expect unless you know 5 other basement dj's who don't know ANYTHING...
Hi m8!
"Escape" - percusion & bassline are poor, you need more fx's, melodys are fine. Sound in head melo is fine. The arp is to loud.
Greatziooooousssssss

Just keeping working... Sounds like you're using fruity loops. I've been using fruity loops for allmost 6 years. Just keep working with it.

I've never gotten a release ever out of my 6 years of production. Bastard!
sorry wasnt ment arrogant, just ment as an example, i know lots of people here on the boards just like me. But making music is not all about getting releases, at least not for everyone, for me it was a goal though.
