if no one cares about these threads, why are they created?

Posted by Akridrot on Jul-28-2005 20:28:

There's a site that's full of questions like that, and they're extremely interesting. I think it was "what i used to believe in" or something like that.

i always wondered what a blind guy would think if he suddenly got his vision back. if he saw a car for the first time but had an incorrect preconception of what it was in his head, would he be like, "whoa. i was totally off on that one."

Some of those are quite interesting. But most are just silly, un-amusing and un-clever word play.

Re: Some Good Questions

off we go then:
How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?
the distinction between assassinations and murders are not based on who was the victim, but rather the method that was used (atleast theoretically, the media tends to ignore that)

Since bread is square, then why is most sandwich meat round?
your premise is false, bread isnt square, and sandwich meat not necessarily round.

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
square boxes are easier to make.

How is it that we put men on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?
knowledge > convenience

Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?
they are referring to the fact babies have no worries.

If you drink Pepsi at work in the Coke factory, will they fire you?
ask coca cola.

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?
who the hell is on tv?

How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss America?
because most election systems are based on the amount of money the candidate and his party have to finance the campaign, not many people can nor want to waste so much money for that goal.

Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.
it's called courtesy.

If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does he/she call?
he radios an ambulence

Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?
the idiocy of the english language

Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet soup?
they're the ones that can benefit the most

Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?
for the nondecent human beings.

Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?
the way a freezer is designed prevents it most often.

When your photo is taken for your driver's license, why do they tell you to smile? If you are stopped by the police and asked for your license, are you going to be smiling?
customary.

If the professor on Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat?
because americans are smart.

Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?
one spares you of being clear on your question, the other would be just rude.

What do you call male ballerinas?
ballet dancer.

Can blind people see their dreams? Do they dream?
no and yes.

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?
often yes.

Is Disney World the only people trap operated by a mouse?
it has franchises, so no.

Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?
yes.

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?
again your premise is wrong, i didnt.

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride; he sticks his head out the window?
dont have a dog, so no.

i avoided most of those that would have called for a

actually all of them did...

and these are your idea of good questions?

good grief.

So I'll leave with the usual .

not to mention i beat you to the punch
