i hope you are doing well! i miss you all - the ones that i know anyway. i should be home again in a month or two... it's up in the air. maybe i can go to TFST or something. do they still do that?

the CORe is pretty amusing today. i am just supposed to be working so I stopped myself from reading too many threads. But I am still having a lot of trouble getting myself to start any work.

Unless they're one of your close confidants, how well does a person really know anyone?

Unless that person truly reads like an open book, it would take years or more to get to know them. Unless you've been down and out (or otherwise able to find out who your REAL friend's are) those people who you thought were your friend's are nothing more than simple acquaintances.

i know mel fairly well - i'd say inbetween an acquaintance and close confidant..she was the first one who chatted with me here on TA when i joined =)

It was actually a rhetorical question, but it's all good.

Anyway, I don't know Mel at all but I'm happy that things seem to be going well for her, wherever she is now.
