Mko - Sweet Memories [Uplifting Trance] [160kbps] [Full]

What's up guys,

Here is the full version to the song that was titled 'Candy Days' before. I decided to change the name and make some changes to the intro and break.

Comments always welcome.

Thanks Sheen...

Yeah I think I can spice up that middle somehow...I just need to get a hold of some more FX samples...

absolutely one sweet track, great emotions too it. I cranked up the speakersystem here and it sounded mint!

only one complaint and that is the clap in the break (or is that the snaredrum???)..it sounded poor and the reverb or echo on it sounds bizarre...to much "going-away-coming-back"-sound it on..that sounded weird but I cant explain it..

take care,

hey man... i am really liking this track...

melody is really nice... caught my ear..

only thing i'd say u might wanna beef up is the percussion? add some different types of percussion.. change it up a bit.

i'm also wondering if i could get a full copy to put in a mix of mine....... i'd definitely like to play this track.

lemme know... my aim is: mptmtiaaf

I think it's the Gated effect I put on the clap...I wanted it to have a delayed effect to it...maybe next track I'll try a different effect...

Thanks again!

ZooKeeper - Thanks dude! I just finished this one, so I'm gonna start listening to different artists to get my ideas for the next track...Not sure when that might be...but thanks again!

BjornC - Thanks.

Trancinchink - I didn't even think of adding Prec's...hehe maybe I will keep updating this track, I'm getting sooo tired of listening to it though...hehe

Static Blue - Thanks.

Sunclyder - Yeah, I've been on the hunt for some FX samples, but cannot find any...The one's I have are alright, but they just don't seem to fit with the song...I tried to put all my frustrated energy into this track, I'm amazed that you guys can sense emotion in this track, mean a lot to me...I was afraid this track may have sounded too commercial...so many Thanks.

First off, i'm digging the quality -- really pro and crisp. Makes it releasable. I'm also up for the gated-clap effect and think it suits this tune down to the ground. Percussion is nice.

Synth progression is amazing and really pumping. Good uplifting track.

I don't think you should bring in the bass shift that early though, I think a track becomes to predicitable once a shift like that is brought in without a melody. You need to build it up and let let it rip in a break or something. Good stuff though.

I really like your music, beautiful melodies. I had fun mixing it Keep up the good work.

JoeyEnv - About that bass shift, I know exactly what your talking about...but this was sort of like a Radio edit mix. I think for a remix, yeah I would not shift the bass till even after the break...thank you so much for your feedback and glad you liked it...

Desty Nova - Thanks a lot man...appreciate it.

Simple yet very nice .
Try to add more background melodies/synths to make the track fatter + adding some atmosphere.

After giving it a good long listen, maybe see if you can find a female lead vocal (a good unsigned talent, with good lyric skills)you could have a dance hit on your hands. I really has a hook, essential in a commerical venture...yeah I know that sucks, but we all gotta eat.

..."Solitude" has a great hook as well.

...one word of warning, don't "overwork" the piece, some times simple is better, and yeah, I know about getting sick of hearing your own work, you can get yourself into a creative block.

Posted by marcusk on Aug-03-2005 00:06:

EternalMusic - Yes, my next goal is to definitely make it sound fat and atmospheric by layering...im still trying to get the hang of Reason...Thanks for your input!

ZooKeeper - Yeah I would love to have female vocalist...I guess I would need to put an ad in the paper or something...thanks much for you input...greatly appreciated..
