Coldplay - White Shadows (Gabriel & Dresden Bootleg)
Sounds as though Josh and Dave decided to follow up on their bootleg of "Clocks". This tune is massive. I loved the original mix from Coldplay... gorgeous lyrics. The bootleg has a nice, punchy beat and the balance on the vocals make this one pure quality.
I'd give it a 9/10.
Hmm I have a song titled Coldplay-White Shadows (Dj Preach Mix)
Could they be the same track mislabeled?
Or did G&D actually do a mix of this
If so im very interested

Setrip of the G&D bootleg. Considering that it will probably never be released, I don't see a problem in doing this.

It's def a great remix...there's some similar sounds to "Without You Near" definitely though. (Not a bad thing).

Anything by Coldplay + Anything by G&D = 99.9% chance it�s going to kick ass

one night while smoking tons of pot at my house, i decided to do a little dj set. i played the drums-only version of "arcadia" and then had fun with the coldplay song and my cdj1000's. i then edited it out of the set into a full track we could spin in clubs.
josh liked the idea, but thought the euphoric ending was all that was needed, so we spent a day and did another version which only has the ending chords and final verse in two differernt breakdowns. so there are two different versions of "white shadows" by us.
coldplay do not like dance music, so dont count on any versions of their songs to be commercially released.

wow, after listening to the setrip, i must say i'm impressed. For weeks i thought about bootlegging this myself, then saw that G&D had done it already. This has taken any ideas of attempting one out of my head
My opinion is... You don't remix Coldplay.
The same for Nirvana, Placebo.
Their tunes are already great, don't remix them.

For me it's not attempting to beat out the original, but a way of making it spinnable. Hearing Chris' vocals in a club would put me in heaven

this is a preety good remix. nothing too original and they have other way better remixes, but good none the less.
I have to say: "White Shadows" is one of the best tracks of the album "X&Y" by Coldplay and I would like to hear how it sounds after an Gabriel & Dresden treatment, ... should really be gold can't wait to hear!!
