HappyHappy Juno Reactor - Bible of Dreams

......Waaaoh!!! wtf

Just recently one of my friends was going thru my CD collection. And he pop in "Bible of Dreams".At the time i wasnt paying any attention to what he was doing...then I was like "WTF"!!

i reamber buying the CD long time ago, way back when i was in high school probably Freshman year,i played it once or twice times it never really got attention. Till now

I cant believe i had this all this time...now i cant stop listening to it.

My Fav.

Jardin de Cecile
Conga Fury
Swamp Thing
High Energy Protons [Orion Mix]

Man the whole Album is:

Any one here like this Album???

Can you give me recommendation on shit like this....

It's not bad. Dark, atmospheric goa trance. God Is God, Kaguya Hime and Children Of The Night are probably the top stuff, with Conga Fury and High Energy Protons also being very nice. However, it does seem really thin in places and the bass is far too weak for music this low-end.

Yay someone who appreciates Juno Reactor!

I have every single album.. so to me they are all good.
Try checking out their new CD labyrinth its pretty freaking awesome. Also try the single Pistolero, pretty awesome one, more trancy than most Juno.

As for similar things, try Shpongle or Infected Mushroom.

Definitely check their new album "Labyrinth", one of my favourite releases of 2004. Their earlier stuff is also excellent, especially the first two cds "Beyond The Infinite" and "Transmissions". Very difficult to get hold of though.

As for other artists, there's difficult to recommend anything, as Juno Reactor's style of music is pretty unique. I could suggest earlier material by Eat Static, but I can't guarantee that you'll like it.

If youre looking for similar stuff check out Traci Lords - 1000 Fires. It was co produced by Ben Watkins (of JR) so the music is very reminicent of their sound.

Journey Kontinues off the MK OST is crazy too. See if you can find it.

Ghost Smilie

Indeed, im going to have to check Juno Reactor newer stuff.

Now i feel like i been missing out on stuff

....its kinda weird how thing grow on you.Same thing happen with "Airdrawndagger"....i reamber being like WTF?!?! is this....whats all the hype i hear about it.Its SHIT.

Then it slowly grew on me....then i was like

Juno Reactor is pretty awesome. I thought their lastest album sounded more industrila than goa. I'll be seeing them play at Earthcore in November... w00t

If you like them, check out Wizzy Noise's new album... Sabotage - Pt1. Similar sounding but still very unique.

Dunno

More suggestions.....anyone>?

Posted by Parpyparpy on Aug-01-2005 18:22:

Fluke?
Hallucinogen?
The Crystal Method?
Infected Mushroom?
Shpongle?

As stated before, not much can equal Juno Reactor's originality.

10,000 miles has always been the Juno track that stands the test of time the most for me.

Sampling Final Approach is always an appreciated touch, so I gotta give props to their track Man to Ray.

And I used to quote Guardian Angel everyday when I courting The Goddess. Lot of good it did me

bollocks...

Just going from their latest album's style, your looking for dark psy.

Dark Soho could interest you. Coined the gothic Infected Mushroom, they have a similar style to IM but with more dark atmospherics and guitar than infected (if thats possible)

Dark Nebula is very full on dark psy. Much more so that Juno. Might be too full on compared to the Juno sound, but worth a listen. Kinda scares the hell out of me, but you might like 'em.

While I'm here, I should really recommend The Misted Muppets too. While not really in the same style, theres something about them that's just evil. The melodies arnt as deep as Juno but these guys are just so worth a listen. Just do it, you'll thank me later

As far as Juno's early stuff, it's straight up old school goa with a twist. You'll find dozens of acts with a similar sound but with their own, equally unique and infectious style. Look at acts like Etnica, Pleiadians, The Infinity Project and Astral Projection. All these artists are amazingly diverse with their own sounds. Juno is great stuff, but if you look around, you'll find plenty of artists making similar sounding if not better stuff.

You can find samples of most of these producers at psyshop

Hello TweeK!

Definitely get the last album of Juno reactor "Labyrinth"

here samples of the album, you will be impressed, this album is not psytrance but a mix of several styles, orchestral, world music (a lot of guitar), and electronic. My favourite is the one at 3.20 mn, intense track!

Enjoy, this is the best album of 2004 for me.
