Smile What are you gonna get first? XBOX 360, PS3, or Nintendo Revolution?

I never really liked XBOX 360's because my favourite genre of video games is RPG's and i didn't like theirs..

So i would get the PS3 first. Revolution second. then XBOX 360 last. I'm sure PS3 will win anyway, at least in Japan/Europe. North America may be a challenge

I'm leaning towards PS3 for now. I'm not really sure about Revolution.

Posted by BlAcKNoVa on Aug-01-2005 01:37:

Umm...PS3 probably. I will have 360 eventually but all my money is going towards PS3 at first (even though it's not due out until next year sometime).

I hate consoles.

Unless Nintendo tosses out a new Smash Brothers title, in which case I would buy their new system for that alone.

Posted by Sunsnail on Aug-01-2005 01:42:

uhmmmmm none of the above?

Posted by flavdave on Aug-01-2005 02:07:

PS3 is going to be $450 right? I'm not sure I'm going to get any of them if they're all going to be that expensive.

Posted by house_conXion on Aug-01-2005 02:10:

I'm probably gonna by a 360 just b/c i already have an xbox and i like it and some of there exclusive titles. plus the 360 looks damn sexay in silver

Posted by Yan on Aug-01-2005 02:28:

I'm planning (okay... Maybe I already pre-ordered it) on purchasing a 360 (since it comes out this fall) and then probably a Revolution. Who in their right mind would shell out upwards of $400 on the PS3? Ken Kutaragi (the president of SCEA) said that $400 was a hopeful price, too. The 360 will be between $300 and $350 (and some people are joking around saying it'll be... yeah... $360). The Revolution will be in the $200 to $250 range the way they're making it out to be.

$ = USD

By the way, ask me questions if anyone has any.

Good news. They're saying a release title will be a new Smash... with ONLINE play! Can't wait. Imagine a TA SSB Tourney.

No arguing there. The entire trilogy of games still has me stumped to this day. I mean... I've beaten them once or twice but this is out of tons of attempts.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: The current generation sequel to Ninja Gaiden, coincidentally titled (not really, but okay), Ninja Gaiden for XBOX. HARD AS HECK. Honestly.

In what way?

I'm guessing you're going about this in the same way I am. Being faithful to retro gaming.

I'll buy a 360 because it's coming out first...

But the system I want the most is Revolution.

Downloadable Nintendo backcatalog. Enough said.

Cheers,

Rob

yeah, man. i enjoy highspeeddeath games like Halo2 and amazing graphics like anyone else, but i can't be bothered to waste hundreds of dollars on gaming; i have a vast catalogue of old school NES games. :P

The old generation is still alive and kicking!

Thought you guys would be interested in having a gander at this.

quote:
Up for auction is a collection of games and ass. that took 15+ years to collect. First off 776 nintendo nes games.. THAT is only 10 games from having the complete set of usa released nes games...I quit collecting six or seven months ago, but i'm sure the last ten games are on ebay right now..

Now i have about 190 boxes to go with these games.. the boxes are not broke down. Rare boxes are worth more not broke down I'm not going to list them all but a few are cheetamen 2 dragon warrior 4 uncharted waters baby boomer parates both zelda 2 boxes and zelda and finial fantasy and about 175 other boxes

Also i have 2 miracle piano's one complete w/ box the other is just the piano.. For those who don't know this is a real piano that plugs into the nes with a agme and it teaches you how to play the piano....

2 rob the robot go to hightest bidder.. don't have all pieces

In this auction you will get both power pads.. perfect shape.. one pad was released w/game I think street cop was the game.. you get a second copy of street cop still shrink wrapped, never opened,

One top loading nes and two reg.nes comes with 14 controllers 3 wireless controllers all wires to hook all three systems up.....

NOW for the kicker of all.. There are at least 720 games in black sleaves and 25 hard cases and about 475 different ins. booklets. probably 95% of all rpgs have all the maps guides and every thing else that came with the game, and some things that didn't come w/them.

Sorry about the spelling and all the reading but only real game collectors made it this far into anyways, I hope you have a great understanding on what i have up for aution ... forgot to mention that 776 games is fine but i'm also giving you the 7 factory sealed games so really it's 783 games.

Posted by RJT on Aug-01-2005 03:32:

Someday I'd like to buy a lot like that... Sadly, I wonder what condition everything is REALLY in...

It'd be insane to get an auction like that of all working stuff... And with ROB the Robot, I'd finally have someone else to play video games with!

It'll most likely end up being the Sony Playstation 3, if it ever gets released, that is.
