God of War

sooo... the game have finally come out.. well, it was some time ago, but i bought it yesterday... the game is freaking awesome.. i love it..

it's the bloodiest game i have ever played

so what do you think of it????

I remmember the commercial, it had that woman's voice over from Carnivale. Had good reviews, so i might have to d/l it soon.

Great game, very bloody and excellent action. It's a tad easy but going through it 2-3 times didn't get tedious at all!

ok.... now i really hate this game.. i killed them all, the red shield thingie went down... and just when i go off the moving floor.. the freaking fire kills me... now how did that happen.. aaaargghhhhhhhhhh �

I watched a friend play this on his PS2. VERY impressive game, and very gory. A definite must have.

yeah.. it's the harpies.. just couldn't remember their names atm.. hehe
but really annoying....

and if universal pictures makes a movie of it... for heaven sake, just don't let someone like the rock play kratos.. it will most likely SUCK big time then..

This game rocks. I'm trying to beat it on god mode now and its a lot tougher (obviously) but I like the challenge. And why is every chick in the game naked or wearing see-through clothes? It was kinda odd to see the oracle of Athens wearing that little shear thing.

Yes sir, that is correct. The same friend who I watched play the game showed me that as well.

I hate how on the older PS2's the game has a tendency to freeze up and you can't go any further due to it being a dual-layer disc.

I got to the part where I had to rescue the Oracle, and then, BLAM. No more game.

I played the game though with a couple of my army pals, and i have to say this game truly rocks, on normal difficulty the game was just challenging enough (for me that is), but we had to change the dif-setting to easy with the last battle, because we were having a lot of hangups (old ps2 i guess). Tried the game a bit with the god-mode but it was too much for me. Anyways great game, great story, great challenge

it's one thing that i miss that i would have loved to have in the game... something that's in devil may cry, and that's that you can replay the game with all the powers you gained throu the game... would have been really cool

I just had the pleasure of playing this game and I must say that this is definitly the action game of the year, if not of this generation of consoles. It is an absolute masterpiece. Dreamy environments with atmospheric orchestral music are just all over this damn game. Every room you walk in, every area you enter, you will be amazed. I havent been this blown away by a games quality since FFIX, FFVII, MGS1/2/3.

Masterpiece and a must have for every ps2 owner.

P.S. I rented this game and beat it in 9h and 24min and im still going to go buy it to play it again in god mod and beat the god's challenge.

I really hope it's not directed by some b-movie character with Vin Diesel playing Kratos. If that happens you might as well just cross it off as another shit game to movie-conversion right away, down there with Street Fighter and Resident Evil.

Nonetheless, the game itself looks rather impressive, and I ought to pick it up soon.

sony's attempt and doing a better prince of persia
it was a good game i'll give it that the chain blades were cool and all
but they did not manage to outdo prince of persia and didn't even get that close to it.
