Meat Beat Manifesto - Helter Skelter (one of the best you're likely to hear; very much influenced the onset of early oldschool hardcore.)

Bazz - The Drop Deal
early 90s sets from Luke Slater
...really dunno why i'm contributing as you never contribute to my threads, but i s'ppose i'm just too benevolent...

| Originally posted by Psy-T thanks for the recommendations. and about contributing in your threads.. the only one i see at the moment is 'what are you listening to atm', i believe that thread has enough replies as it is.. if you really like to know what i'm listening to, stop by irc, i got a script there. (and just one for right now: Maetrik - Cologne And Back) if you mean other threads you've made here... well, i only click an average of 5 threads in the MD every week, and i select them by the topic, i rarely have a look at the thread starter before entering the thread. i dont post in all threads i see because in some i have nothing to add, in others - all i wanted to say has been said already, or i have too much to say and not enough time to say it, so i stay out completely. |
Chemical Brothers - Loops Of Fury
The first Chemical Brothers album, Exit Planet Dust. And I guess Dig Your Own Hole too. They both have some acid influenced tracks, although I haven't listened to either in a while so I might be wrong.
why do you guys keep suggesting the stuff that i obviously have and have heard?
isn't anyone here into big beat enough to scratch beyond the surface?
