Monkey Dancer 2 trance songs with cellphone rings???

I am sick of hearing the Crazy Frog song on the radio, but I know I have heard some FIERCE songs with actual cellphone rings in them in the past. The only one I can actually think of is "Communication - Mario Piu"

Anyone else know of any songs like this?? Thanks!

Wait, let me get this straight. You want songs with sound samples of phones ringing in them?

Posted by luckytrance on Aug-03-2005 03:46:

LOL--yes I am! I know of one I actually heard on a mixshow fairly recently (past month or so) with a cellphone ring that then turned into the actual synth melody and it was amazing...kinda along those lines--nothing that sounds bad or annoying!

I guess I can't really help you with that. I absolutely abhor Mario Piu - Communication, and think it's one of the worst 'trance' tracks ever produced.

All I know is that I have Nu Frequency - 808 as my ringtone.

I want Greece 2000 as my ringtone....
If anyone knows the music notes for the melody for greece 2000 that would be just as good because my cellphone has a ringtone maker.

If you want you can get the Fruity Loops 5.0 and then some midi's. Open the midi in an instrument, say FL Keys, it will lay out all the notes in the piano roll.

I currently have Apex Twin - Film as my ringtone, pretty good too.

In a McDonald's here in Munich you can order ringtones where you even can get the midi ringtones for "Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes" and "Envio - Time To Say Goodbye"

I myself use the following ringtones
Nalin & Kane - Beachball (G&D Mix) (Break): when family calls
Lostep - Burma (Sasha Remix): When a tranceaddict (mostly German) calls
Nalin & Kane - Beachball (G&D Mix) (Mainpart): when s.o. else from the phonebook calls
Tilt - The World Doesn't Know: for calls with numbers not from the phonebook
Paul van Dyk - For an Angel: Alarm

Where do i have them from? I have a Siemens ME65. I used a datacable and the software s25@once (www.s25atonce.de). First i cut out the part i wanted to have as ringtone (you can easily do that using audacity f.e.), converted it into m6v wave format (the mobile is using this wave compression for realtones) and put it on the mobile. thats it you don't need a data cable if you have infrared or bluetooth.

or if you prefer midi: you can get loads of trance midis at http://midi.johnsteenbergen.com/

You should get the Mas Mix then, that one's pretty good. No ring tones in it though (luckily...).

I record songs from cd/vinyl/dvd's in my collection into my phone as ringtones, they sound pretty decent.. this is what I got right now.

Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave (Albion Remix) for incoming calls -- this turned out to be a really good ringtone
Solid Slide - Belo Horizonte for text messages
Pulser - My Religion for voice mail messages
Tiesto - Goldrush (DJ Montana Remix) for picture messages
Whiteroom - Someday for my ex
Nathan Fake - Outhouse for pages
Paul Vernon - Mind Decay for calls from home

I can connect the phone to the computer but I'd have to buy the cable and software, I wish I could do that though hehe.

Would Paul Van Dyk - Connected count?

Barcode Brothers - SMS

Probably the worst song known to man, but still.

HAH! I remember that song from a random euro compilation a couple years ago. I played it in my car and my friend thought it was his phone. It was pretty funny. It had that Gabry Ponte/Eiffel 65 type sound to it and got stuck in my head pretty easily

Mariu Piu - Communication (Somebody Answer The Phone) (Yomanda Remix)
it has phones ringing in the song, and also those blips that you hear on most speakers when you are calling with a cellphone

Kompressor - Black Onyx (Original mix) has some sorta ringtone style shit in it, only one i can think of atm but I'm sure theres more.
