Confused WTF is goin on Downtown?

apparently theres a huge cloud of smoke further south from where i work (college and bathurst) and while on my lunch just now, i saw 12 fire trucks speeding faster than ive ever seen them go from all the firestations in the vicinity....

that happened at Ryerson when i was at Salad king for lunch. They had cut off traffic through the area, and there were choppers over head.

it seems as if, anything goes wrong, its now a big deal with lots of people attending to the scene.

FIRE.

I think everyone's freaked out because of the terrorist stuff.. if something happens, EVERYONE needs to be there in case it actually IS a serious incident... Not saying this isn't, it's just the reactions...

They are so used to responding to the broken/false fire alarams, that when the actual fire starts they need to bring helicopters

it seems as if, anything goes wrong, it's now a big deal with lots of people incorrectly speculating on the internet about events that they have no clue about while giving meaningless reassurances to people they have never met, nor ever will.

Now, now, don't get so upset. I'm sure it isn't nearly as bad as it seems.
