Anyone wanna hit the beach tomorrow?

Got the day off work, woot!

Going to Belmar at like 8am. 100 degrees, mostly sunny.... me =

whoa. Belmar is my beach. Only for surfing though, so not really in the summer. They still charge like $7 to go on the beach these days?

really? i <3 belmar. where do you live? i wanna learn how to surf! but for now, i'm just a lowly beach comber. hehe. yep, still $7 for a daily. but worth it.

I live in West Orange....Belmar is the closest beach to me.

haha, i was at the Manor on sunday for a surprise birthday brunch party. that place is beautiful but the food is not up to par. i live in hasbrouck heights. heard of it? no one has

haha, I can't tell you how many bar mitzfahs i went to at the Manor when I was a kid. And yes, I'm familiar with Hasbrouk Heights.

Surfing season is fall/ winter/ spring really. Gotta deal with teh cold water though.

I got a beach house in Belmar on 18th 2 blocks away from Djais, i only go there from thur-sun though.

what a Great day.. i got a lil bout of heat exhaustion but other than that, it was perfect- quiet, perfect weather, warm water, crazy waves.

wow Jones Beach, I havent been there since I was a kid. I remember how far of a walk it was from the parking lot just to get the beach, and the HUGE waves. It is really a long walk or was it just that I was little and it seemed like it?

there's like different fields you can go to. the parking lot @ field 2 isn't far from the beach (you can walk to the beach in like 5 minutes) that's why i like field 2 the best

it's like a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the beach @ the other fields. it's not that far but im lazy so i always go to field 2 instead

and yeah the waves are pretty big but i don't like to go too far out cause there's like a bunch of crabs there

there was less debris in the waves in field 4 and no crabs(field 2 had seaweed and sand in the waves yucks :whip but jones beach is dirty overall...i prefer robert moses. much cleaner, and no rocks poking ur feet when u walk in the surf...

but hey its still the beach!! and it was soo fun when we went

well there were shells all over the path to the beach on field 2 ahha, and i prefer not to be pelted by seaweed and sand in the water ahha. but this is nyc so :shruggs:
