Instrumental trance

You know the drill. I need suggestions.
Here are perfect examples of what I'm looking for:

Brainbug - Nightmare (Sinister Strings Mix)
Brainbug - Benedictus (Exitiale Mix)

Haven't heard Photo, but Flash and SDAOW don't sound instrumental to me...

Ummmm....

Aren't all tracks without vocals considered to be "instrumental" ?

I'm not sure what you mean here.

He means that string instruments are involved.

I'd call it symphonic, rather than instrumental, trance.

Christopher Lawrence has a couple of nice classical style (dare I say downtempo) trance tracks with strings, piano etc. One is called New Day, I think it was on All or Nothing, the other one is Filmer, guessing it's on the Hook retrospective he put out last year.

It's funny, MTV used to play New Day all the time on the Real World, mostly for the "sad" parts. Beautiful track tho.

Yeah, that's what I thought. My bad.

Orkidea - Requiem

This mix - http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=259626 - has it as the first track, and it really is a quality song.

Jonas Steur - Silent Waves

Already got that one, but thanks anyway. It's nice.

And if you're going on that tip, also Jonas Steur - Castamara or Little Wonder - Eclipse (Fictivision vs C-Quence Remix).
