1 year anniversary...

Hey guys and gals,

I need some of your advice. I'll be with my girlfriend for a full year later this month and was wondering what flowers I should get her. I really don't wanna get her the cliche bouquet of roses...so what others do you all recommend or think I should get her?

for my gf's one year anniversery...

hmmm I made reservations to a japanese resturant(plumb tree) in some town 30 min out of our college town called ithaca. Then I had a gift(diamond necklace, smaller than 1 karat, maybe .25 something round the 200$ range) mailed it up to the hotel room we stayed at and when we got to the hotel after dinner and she opened the door to our room the gift was on the bed for her to open. So in the end she got dinner and a diamond necklace. I got two tickets for her and I for a knicks game and photo album of being with her for a year. Not a bad deal.

If she is worth it meaning you feel whole with her, spend a couple extra bucks that one night because you'll make it back if you got some job. Hopefully whatever you do, she gives ya in return because its her one year anniversery to!

And for the whole night? If you're pressed for cash, a girlfriend of one year should understand that situation. Now that's NEVER an excuse to cop out on planning a romantic evening that shows her you're mad about her. Course if you're not, shower her with gifts they love that. haha.

take her to where yall met, or went on a first date... that is always very cool...

then, flowers- get something exotic- some birds of paradise type flowers, yes that is a type of flower... they are pretty and bloom for a while... stargazer lillies smell the best, to me... roses are dull... or just pick some from someones yard and put 'em together yourself and make sure you tell her you made it yourself, and she will love it...

I think people look into this way too much,take her fave restaurant and let her tart herself up,then bring her home have some wine etc.
I think it should be more about focusing on the year you have been to gether,not what material possessions one can give another,although it does help.
I reckon you should get out photo's from the last year,and just reminiss(sp?) on the fun and loving times u have had together.
If you want help bringing things to mind,look at your or her calendar for the past year and jog your memory.
