do i have to smuggle my liquor?

I'm flying from Dallas to LAX to see TIC. My friends and I are all 19. Are they going to care if they scan my bag and they see alcohol? What if we put the vodka in water bottles and get it through baggage that way?

Anybody with any experience in this field?

no i completely missed that part. It's totally normal to ship bottles of water...this isn't flaming, this is just a lil dumb for you to spend any sort of effort for alcohol. this is as available as water around the world.

i am also 19 yet i would never go through so much effort just to get drunk. In fact, i've never had such a dilema in my life.
