Sasha, Digweed, Seb Fontaine, Nick Waren (ok i know he's coming ... )
and here's few others like Astrid, John 00 Flemming, Marco-V ...
anyhow reason i am mentioning this is cause i, first of all, am really wondering where the hell are they, why aren't they brought over at least once a year, i also read a number similar comments in various threads but what really made me post this is reading NYC's threads and getting over one of these posts (recent events in NY and region)

Now what the ... NY isn't any better, any further away from us or europe,so what's wrong (by the way i see smirnof sponsorship as a little fix to this situation) ...Isn't this the way business goes, money is made by getting customers (in this case people) what they want therefore making money (that's why promoters exist don't they) that is why I also think that the promoters really should be reading forums like this (TA's for example) OR
(the way it looks like it should be done here in toronto-> we from trance community going after them asking them and begging them to do something they should really be thinking about)

This also raises another question ... is trance/techno community here in GTA small???? in numbers of people and popularity

i've been away from europe for 4 years now where every god damn club play trance AT LEAST ... you can go anywhere anytime to get your doze of progressive/techo whatever and i really miss it ... "it kinda stinks here or what's going on here in toronto" (now that's the way i think when i think about this problem and get pissed realizing that)

The djs i mentioned are just few of of my favorites ... but you can put in there any of your favourite djs you want ... i am sure a lot of you ask yourself the same question (only with your favorites in you minds)

Oh and Westbam, a dj and producer from berlin and a very good friend of PVD, the one that started the whole elecrtonic fever back in the day '90 - '91 along with Marusha. Pvd picked it up from/with Westbam ... explaining his talent discovery where later he turned to the world where the other two sticked mainly to germany and europe
anyhow i know it may be irelevant but i just had to mention it

i guess so, u can count the tranceaddicts from this site, and u'll get maybe 40-50 ppl in the whole toronto, and im talking about real tranceaddicts, other ppl like that seem 2 know trance, but don't listen 2 it, its watever 2 them i dont count, coz there's pretty much a lot ppl like that i think so i guess the trance community here is small...toronto has a huge popularity of jungle/d&b...community is 10x bigger then us!

well, seb is here at least once a year, so is picotto, pvd, deep dish... sasha & digweed i dunno why they're not, thats really a shame... but yea, i think we're doing pretty good now, compared to 1-2 years ago? more and more talent keeps coming our way

You bring up some pretty bad points. First of all, comparing Toronto to New York is a big mistake. Really big. Last time I checked the GTA was what...3-4 million people, while New York City (city space) is well over 12 million. Big difference man.

Promoters should read forums? Where the hell have you been? Trust me man, promoters read forums. This one too. I think Tribe has more promoters than they do regular partiers. heh The Sonic State crew is in here on a regular basis man. Try reading the forums sometime.

Money is made by customers? Wow good call dude. What is the point you're making? You lost me.

You made a comment about being away from Europe? Did you live there? Do you expect Toronto to be the same as say London? Cuz it aint man. Unfortunately (subjective) people here aren't used to the dance scene yet, the Tragically Hip and Alanis Morissette seem to be bigger draws then say even PVD.

Very true and realistic? What the hell are you talking about man? You hit me as someone who bitches all the time about the scene, but hits a party a year. Goodnight*
