Hey

My goodness uahah.. beginning , reminds me some music in Jackass stuff when Chris Pontius is a Party Boy - if u know da film series - Im crazy I know so Do not admonish on me hehe

kk..enough of my "crazy" humour today .

I dont like the kick as my ears say - with bass and background it is nice, covering the main feeling of him alone.. maybe change it,
- Piano - great maybe a bit louder..nice bass tho

04:27 , nice.. but before that could be some sound on da cute off, but it's the only fit for my ideas.. so..its urs so appreciate it
06:04 - nice going after the vocal (here: I dont like the kick)

Overall - well done I guess - ya know, your style , ur technique - Im always challenging in some little things hehe, however I will keep this tune on my disc

Please Visit and comment my tracks too

It rocks!!
I don't like the kick though

if the piano was a good sample it would go some way in rescuing a pretty poor remix

when are they gonna announce the winners of this comp. i know i didnt win but just curious to hear what did???

Hey Buddy,
listening as I comment...

I think the kick is too hardcore, at least in the beginning. But on the other hand it gives the tune a nice techy hard feeling I dont know from you in the first minutes.
Awesome bubbling bass. Good techy percussion, i really dig this.
Nice buildup with a lot of depth. Maybe some of the synths seem a little too muffled. The piano is quite silent too. Dont know which effect it would have on the tune if you made it clearer, but I'd try it at least.

2:45 - the first absolute Highlight. Great morphing pads, the atmosphere is awesome as always but at the same time the track is rocking EXTREMELY much.
The break then comes at exactly the right time, maybe should try dropping the stuff faster, otherwise extremely nice.
The atmospheric part is worth mentioning since its awesome as always

Ok, where are we at? 7:00 - Full power. This is the maximum of layers possible. I'm not a huge fan of massive saw leads usually ... but I'd almost call this one perfect. And above the angelic voice sample.
So many details I can't mention all.

There is one thing however. Stuff gets a little muddy in the end when all the layers come in. Some elements get hardly audible. I know its intended to be that deep, but maybe its possible for you to remove some of the clipping without taking away the deep trippy feeling of the track. Don't touch the original tune however

Conclusion:
Oh my god, that was an awesome ride. I don't know the original tune but I bet this one is much better. Sounds like I try to suck up to you but it really IS that good ... 9.5/10 ... if you manage to remove the clips, it's a 10/10 ... no exaggeration.. well done

sorry man i dont know your still but is this suppose to be psy trance cause thats what it kinda reminds me of?? sorry i'm pretty clueless when it comes to psy trance.

this is very different indeed but i kinda digged it. it was messing with my head

kick sample is weak put in a powerful kick and this would be pretty good. its far from my style but i can appreciate it. just change the kick, turn up piano and sort out muddy parts

Posted by cybernetica on Aug-06-2005 00:30:

Nope, this is not Psytrance ... it has not enough psychedelic elements and not the typical bass nor the typical FXes. Psy also doesnt make use of such massive saw leads. But I admit it has some kind of dark trippiness that reminds me of very good Goa or Psy... thats probably why I like it that much

Hey mate,

Good atmosphere you have there when you've built everything up. The absolute start wasn't that great.

Breakdown with the piano is not too bad, different, I think the piano is nice. Kinda half eery.

After breakdown is nice, you've done well with the synths really. Impressed there. The percussion feels a little basic, but it gets the job done.

Good on you mate.

Thanks everyone for your views in this.
I accept it sounds kind of muddy at the end, but with the massive layering I did, it was not possible to get it clearer while conserving the deep feel, you can take my word for it, I did as much eq, filtering and compression as I could, but going further would result in a terrible mix.

It seems there is a lot of bad reactions on the kick, too bad.
Unfortunately I'm working on some projects that now deserves more attention than this, but perhaps someday I'll change the kick.

Cheers to all.

Hey,
The kick is the only thing I really dislike bro, sounds too from fruity librarie though.
The rets is really nice, I like ur claps, and they sound well compressed .
The pads are my prefered part.
In overall very fresh remix, I liked keep it up .
Kopi =o.

Posted by PDM on Sep-19-2005 03:53:

Hehe, thanks for the comments bro, yeah, made thar remix a couple of months ago, back when I didn't know how to layer a kick properly, now is a thing of the past thankfully.

Posted by thoughtlessjex on Sep-19-2005 14:50:

Kick seems a bit toy-ish in the beginning.

Panning on the bass is cool.

Nice arping.

Your pad is really overwhelming the entire track. I'd almost say it's detracting from the energy. For instance, I can't hear the high percs over it, so I'm not really getting a good impression of those driving eighth notes.

I love the gated vocalizations. Good work with those.
