PVD & Tiesto

Now this isn't a who's better thread. There's been plenty of discussion on that topic. I was just wondering if anyone knew if these two dj's are friends or not. I know they share a residency in Ibiza over the summer the past few years and I was curious if they generally like each other or if they just maintain a mature and professional relationship.
Having said that, I also am curious if there are other dj's that are really good friends i.e sasha/digweed or if there or dj's that absolutely hate each other.
I've been to parties where the headliners during crossover gave each other hand shakes, hugs, and actually shared some deck time with each other even though it wasn't planned. For example, Christopher Lawrence and JOOF, Dumonde & Gary D, and Gary D & Dj Dean.

On topic: no, they re not closer friends, they know each other by the well known job they got.
If they was so good friends they could make a collab track like tiesto made with ferry/armin or like pvd made with bt...

i remember Paul Van Dyk saying in an radio interview some of his collegues (referring to tiesto) were doing all this "mickey mouse crap" (referring to disney concert) and he didnt believe the music should leave the clubs..

Interview was posted in some thread here in the MD..not too long ago...couple of months maybe..

i think most of the prog dj's are good friends. when we talked to steve porter when he was in denver he told us he'd hang out with a lot of those guys and shit like that...

pvd was saying how the hate b/w him and tiesto was not true, just rumors

then the interview came out with him talking about trance being amde for small clubs and not concerts and mickey mouse bullshit...

maybe its diff now?

i very much doubt they are very good friends or even like each other.

i'm sure tiesto isn't very happy about what pvd said in that interview about the disneyland concert.

previous years at amnesia they have both dj'ed on the same night most weeks however this year cream @ amnesia have went to great lengths to have separte nights (magik muzik one week and vandit sessions the next week, apart from the opening party etc) therefore keeping the two dj's apart. this may have been done so the two djs didn't need to near each other too much, hehe.

If that's the interview i've heard (it starts with for an angel playing) then it was recorded long before tiesto did the disneyland concert. PvD just used the term 'mickey mouse' as a derogatory way of describing cheesey music. Nothing to do with tiesto

DuMonde and Cosmic Gate are very good friends, speaking of dj's who are good friends....
I believe Tiesto and PvD have the kind of relationship where they are nice to eachother in the face, but diss eachother in interviews (at least PvD has the tendency to do that)...
